App needs adjustments for persons with disabilities so that it is by federal law compliant with all laws and regulations they’re in (ADA) Americans With Disabilities Act requires all, and that isn’t some that is all to be handicapped accessible. This is a disgrace, not only to the app, but to the country.

YOU DON’T NEED MY MIC
Every time I open the app, it asks for access to my microphone. I don’t ever talk to anyone using this app and I don’t want to give access to my microphone. Stop asking!
A pinnacle of technical incompetence
There could not be a worse option. Do NOT let your HOA pull you into this garbage. App lags. Video calls rarely work. The phone key drains your battery using Bluetooth in the background. The key fobs are propriety and over priced. The physical key readers have a multi second delay. The callbox can’t make regular phone calls - you need their 2009 trash app installed. Don’t even think about getting your guests through the door. Making user changes to their database don’t actually go through 9 out of 10 times.
They have a cap on your password length! Let’s not be too secure! This product could not be more backwards. I can’t even imagine the ongoing costs to keep this system running. A pinnacle of technical incompetence. Well done CellGate 👏

Not reliable
The app is not being supported by the company. No development is being done. The call delay is so long ie when a visitor calls from the gate it can take over a minute for the call to reach my phone and even then I often can’t open the gate because the watchman is off line and I get a failure to open msg. To fix it the company says for me to go and unlock the box remove a wire to shut off power wait 10 seconds and re connect the wire and wait for the box to reset. Why does the box constantly need resetting? It is such a pain. For $40 a month I get maybe five days of functional time. Avoid this company.
