The app blocks you from logging in if you're using a VPN, so good luck ever using this app from work or coffee shops or pretty much any other public Wi-Fi.

Can’t even use the app says I need to update but it won’t give me the option to update.
Debit card chip
The debit card chips do not work half the time if at all so if they don't have tap to pay like Walmart it's near impossible to pay!
Blocks VPNs
Maybe they pretend to care about security, but Centric blocks anyone with a VPN from using their app. How are we supposed to use this app from places like coffee shops, airports, etc. if you block VPN use?

The credit union I used closed & all of the customers were merged with Centric. Customer service has been awful since day 1, & the app & website will not allow me to complete transfers with my own money. Once my car is paid off I will never use them again.

If you want personalized service and a smile every time you walk in the bank, Centric is the right choice for you. The team there is just incredible all the way around, they treat you as a person, not an account number.

This app is overly difficult to navigate and it displays wrong account info. Bugs out. Bring the old one back!!
Constant ineptitude
Since joining this credit union in 2018 the service I’ve received as a whole has been abysmal. The errors, oversights and mistakes and false statements have been nearly constant. The ONLY positive thing about the entire experience has been the low mortgage by and Visa credit card interest rates. I truly struggle to remember a single positive experience with any department in your organization. I’d welcome the opportunity to explain just exactly why I feel this way to anyone at Centric who would listen, but I’m doubtful I’ll be contacted by anyone who actually cares to hear it or that would make a concerted effort to change things for the better.
