Century Link Or Mc afee💁
Which one is to blame for not responding to peoples crying out for WIFI security ,protection from cyber attacks. Neither one of these apps works.

Security by CenturyLink is working great. Would recommend it to anyone on the CenturyLink network.
Not easy at all
I had to call Centurylink support and let them dial into my Mac to get this installed. The tech said it would be easy to install on my phone and ipad. It’s not. Won’t take the activation code. Wants me to sign in. Won’t accept my email or my Centurylink account number. I give up.
Still no protection
Have downloaded, logged in and all the app does is crash. This started after last app update. Both iOS and android. Please Fix it.
Centurylink Mcafee Does not activate
Followed instruction would not activate. Called support. Referral to mcafee. Still no activation on IOS iPad or iPhone. Still waiting resolution. Century link chat was useless and frustrating. Mcafee could not resolve issue so Mcafee is researching. In meantime no protection from the Centurylink provided Mcafee product.

So frustrating
I have downloaded on a Chromebook and appears to work fine. However, trying to install on any other devices is a nightmare. Once installed there is no option to sign in, only to sign up, and I can’t use my email as it says I already have an account so I need to use a different email address. Was on hold with the online chat for over an hour before I gave up. CenturyLinks phone tree is s joke. After finally reaching a real person I was transferred twice and still no one could help me. I think it’s time to find another internet option. This current one is a joke.

Account number
This app blows! Can’t use with my account number! Can’t get a activation number from century link! Can’t get in touch with anyone! The AI system doesn’t comprehend questions! As far as I’m concerned! Both companies blow! Will not recommend either!
Cant Set up
App asks for account number but does not accept my centuary link account number. Gives no alternative paths. DOA
App stopped working
So I tried to reinstall it, error messages, either activation code invalid or exceeded subscription number. Uninstalled on 2 devices to free up space but on 1 remains device still showing the 2 are active and protected when they are not.

Too many Subscriptions?
Can’t activate it on my iPhone because it keeps telling me I have too many subscriptions.

I entered my code, and it just stalls and does nothing. Deleting this app.

I also got the app and saw the prior developer response on how to get the activation code/account number but can’t get it to work from my Century Link account. Not useful at this point.

What account number the only account number I got is my centurylink account never did have a mcafee account number so how are we supposed to the app

The account number is actually an activation code. To get the code, you'll need to sign on to the Centurylink website with your account and either follow the steps in the messages or navigate to My Products to find the link to download McAfee Security.
