Excellent app that more hikers and outdoor athletes should use

I’ve done elements 1 and slowly working on elements 2. Excellent instructions. I like Chase’s vibe. I think it would benefit the app to have videos along with the timer on specific workouts like lower 02 on elements 2. Either way, the app runs smoothly and I am a satisfied client. I am slowly getting in shape for a 2027 trek in Nepal and Chase Mountains really helps.

After paying I still do not have access to the plan I wanted to use. I contacted the company and did not receive a reply.

Great program, not so great app

Programming, exercise selection, and theory are great (at least in the “mountain proof knees” section).
However the app itself and the effort put into the videos and explanations are lacking quite a bit especially when you compare it to the marketing material.

Also a small gripe: don’t expect to get through this program without any equipment. I would recommend going through all the exercises in the beginning and making a shopping list (shopping list would be a great addition to the app). Lots of times it is recommended to “just use things in your environment” like a fence post or some bricks - so alternatives are given.

Think of this as a great program with solid theory behind it - with it needing some work on the technical side. I do recommend the program, but be prepared for a little bit of minor frustration. The important stuff is all on point and I’ve made great progress. I think it was definitely worth what I paid.

Yes!

Worth every penny. I did a thru hike last year and my knees were in so much pain. Chase Mountains helped my knees feel better and stronger than ever

Mountain Proof Knees

This program has been immensely helpful in restoring my general lower body functioning and strength after getting knee surgery about two and a half months ago. I’m already feeling better than before surgery in just about a month of doing the program! I’d suggest it to any mountain athlete who wants to do some preventative maintenance on their knees and lower body and just learn more about how their body functions. Chase takes a very holistic approach to the program, which I really appreciate after having some narrow and more focused PT in the past that was never very helpful. I will continue to utilize the exercises and information I learned in this course for the rest of my life as I continue to explore the world under my own power!
