ChatInbox: Email by Sender

New • Reply or Forward with just the part you highlighted. Select any passage in a message, then choose Reply or Forward with Selection — the quote carries only what you picked, not the whole original. • Pinch to zoom on emails. Open any message full screen, zoom in up to 6x, and pan around — no more squinting at tiny text in newsletters and receipts. • Rotate to landscape while reading. Wide, desktop-style emails finally get the room they need. • Text Size now applies to the whole email. Your preferred size (and Dynamic Type) now scales the sender's own fonts too, not just ours. • Key details, right in the header. Delivery dates, order numbers, amounts and tracking links now appear as a single line beside the sender instead of a boxy card above the message — and only when they're genuinely useful. iPad • Portrait is a real layout now. Held upright, the iPad no longer letterboxes into a shrunken landscape view — the conversation takes the full screen and the chat list slides in when you want it. Split View and Stage Manager sizes are handled properly too. • Reply, Forward and the rest now follow you down a long email in a bar that settles at the end of the message, instead of making you scroll to the bottom to reach them. The ⋯ menu no longer repeats what that bar is already showing. • The calendar adapts the same way, bringing back the slide-up list of unscheduled items on narrower layouts. Improved • Group and company conversations now name the senders behind them on one scrollable line, instead of a tall block of cards that pushed the email itself off screen. The full list is a tap away in Details. • The group editor shows real members, a rename reaches the chat list straight away, and the list follows the group you just changed. • Thread headings inside a conversation respond to a tap again, and the chevron beside one opens the thread instead of raising a menu. • Every empty screen now uses the same native placeholder, and says why it's empty rather than just showing a picture. • The purchase screen leads with the plans and their prices, and its small print is legible. Fixes • Forwarding now always includes the original message. Forwards sent from the chat list, a swipe, a search result or a notification could go out with just your note on top — and without their attachments. Both are fixed. • Picking one of your own folders now actually filters the chat list to it. A custom mailbox could quietly fall back to showing every conversation. • Chat list names now match your Contacts. A row showing an old name or a bare email address updates as soon as the contact card is available. • On iPad, changing a filter no longer leaves the previous conversation open beside the new list — and the title bar no longer shows empty parentheses when nothing is selected.
