It works exactly as I expected and is very reliable and the prices are good and I’m glad I’m not eating fast food anymore and instead eating actually prepared food it’s really good.

1 star. ChowNow’s delivery service is extremely frustrating. They use Uber to deliver the food, but when an order is marked as delivered and never actually arrives, there is seemingly no accountability. There is no proof of delivery, they don’t provide a way to contact the driver, and ChowNow doesn’t appear to make any effort to contact the driver either. They also don’t record or retain the order details in a way that helps resolve the issue. Once the order is marked “delivered,” you’re basically left with no recourse, even when you never received your food.
For a service that charges customers for food and delivery, there should be a clear process for investigating missing orders and holding delivery partners accountable. I would not recommend using ChowNow until they improve their delivery support and customer protection.

Deleted app
I refuse to store credit cards on my phone for security reasons. This app used to allow me to enter a card number now forces me to Apple Pay which requires I electronically store my CC. So I deleted the app
Low IQ customer service
I placed an order for delivery that said it would take 37 minutes. After placing the order the text message from chow now said it would take an hour and 40 minutes for delivery. I called customer service and was told they’ll switch it to pick up. I drove all the way out to the restaurant and the order was picked up. I called back to chow now and they say there’s no record of them switching it to pick up horrible customer service

Just drive to get it yourself
We ordered food through here… a) delivery driver never notified us of the delivery, our food was covered in bees and flies b) tried getting a refund, not happening despite reporting… to both app and restaurant
