Piece of Junk

I cannot even enter my credentials and login when I hit “Login” nothing happens

Buggy

App frequently opens with a blank screen. I’ve used quite a few expense app, this is by far the worst.

Useless

Can't even login and doesn't give an alternative, says to "try again later." Not surprising as CR Snap is useless as well.

Doesn’t work

Never get past a loading page to sign in… 15 out of 15 of us have the same issue…

The worst designed app

Perfect app for compagnie. There employee will never try to get reimbursement it is so user unfriendly

Okay expense software, but mobile app is terrible.

I like the web app fine and CR Snap works well for capturing receipts but this mobile app is horrible. Unintuitive interface that seems like they just shoehorned the web app into an iPhone app. Really buggy to the point it freezes or doesn’t display correctly and I have to kill it and restart. Doesn’t correctly bring in information from uploaded receipts like the web app does.

I’ll just wait until I’m at a computer to submit expenses and save myself the headache.

One of the worse expense tool I have ever used

Terrible UI
Clunky - takes ages to load
Scans receipts completely wrong (incorrect date, total etc)
Randomly changes currency
Randomly selects [wrong] type of expense

All I can say is it must be dirt cheap software (which explains why my stingy employer uses them)

Career changer!!!

I never take the time to write detailed reviews, but after seeing this app only has 145 reviews and doesn’t have 100% satisfaction, I KNEW I needed to step in.

This app has helped me so much at my job in completing my expense reports for reimbursements that I just wanna go out and spend money for no reason now! Because I KNOW it’ll come back to me so quickly.

If you use Chrome river for desktops, then you need to download this app ASAP! It has all the functionality of the desktop, and where I have to submit picture proof of my receipts, uploading them from my phone has been such a convenience. Where previously I would have to either email them to myself, OR use the chrome river “snap” app (which I am not a fan of). After using this app, I have deleted the “snap” app and no longer dread buying things to be reimbursed for them later. It’s all made so simple

Hot garbage

My company switched from Certify to Chrome River. This app is not nearly as intuitive as competitors. It’s all around difficult to use.

Useless

I have never been able to login. I can login on the desktop, but never on the mobile app. Incredibly frustrating and inconvenient.

Different Login

The website version requires a User ID, Password, and Company ID. This app asks for email.

Consider that for some companies, HR manages the accounts. Imagine the impact on HR if hundreds or thousands of employees need to contact them for a simple email code to log into an Apple app.

Unfortunately, the universal website version is more accessible to use than the app dedicated for iOS.

The app won’t send me a log in code

I was using this app for work and it hasn’t worked along with cr snap I’ve tried everything still won’t work you go to the web site and you can’t reach anyone to help when worked it was great now it just garbage

I cringe every time I need to tag an expense

The dropdown with list of options shifts slightly when I go to make a selection. The net result is a regularly make the wrong the selection because what I think I’m clicking on turns out to be something else. As opposed to a halo feature (where just using it brings me joy), this subtle issue is a horn feature because it brings me frustration and dread. Hopefully not a big thing to address…

Awful app and web experience. Expensify is much better

I get so frustrated any time I have to use this app or web interface. There’s no automatic image processing like you have in Expensify. Everything take far more clicks than it needs to. The UI seems like it’s out of the 90’s. Everything takes me multiple times longer than it did when we were using Expensify. This is a comically bad UX

Junk App with no support

The company I work for requires me to use this junk app. For days you can’t attach copies of receipts so you can’t submit your expenses. This means your project financials are off and can’t be invoices and if you have personal expenses, you’re out of luck. This is not the first time this has happened. You just wait. Offload and reload the app. No difference. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

The worst expense claim system ever made

Buy this product if you want to reduce staff retention. It is the worst expense claim system I have ever used. The UI is terrible

Very unintuitive and hardly works

Don’t like the app. Very clunky and slow. And the main reason I downloaded it was so that I could claim my travel mileage expense. Problem is, the app doesn’t allow you to select the route on a map. However, the website on the computer does. So clearly whoever developed this app did not put much effort in to it.

Probably the worst app ever

This app is the most frustrating I’ve ever had the misfortune to use in over 30 years of booking expenses. I actually don’t have the words to describe how bad this is. It wastes hours of productive time from terrible and confusing workflows, to clumsy persistence settings and dis functional search. As an example, deleting a receipt is impossible once you’ve taken a picture of it. It just speaks to the fact that no one on the product of dev team have actually ever tested this by trying to book a real life expense. Incredible!

Definitively the worst enterprise expense app I’ve used

I’m in sales and have over twenty years experience with managing and processing my frequent travel expenses. This app and the chrome river system is so bad, I’d rather go back to paper receipt submissions. The app looks like it was developed in the early 2000’s and hasn’t been updated since.

Garbage App

If it actual loads, the navigation is so awkward it’s hard to add an expense without creating a new report. It really shouldn’t be this hard to write a mobile app for expense reporting.
