Very cool
I've only been using the app for a few days, but it's such a cool one! I love how open and transparent the creator is about what you do and don't pay for and that part of my subscription goes to charity. I also love how customizable it is (choosing your symptoms: creating symptoms, choosing how you want your graph to look, coloring coding things, ect) it's been very helpful to see the peaks and how long my symptoms last via a color chart. I haven't tried the 3d model yet because I use this for my POTS and I've lived with my aches and headaches so long I don't really think to track them, but you get a demo of how it works and get to play around with it (if you don't choose to subscribe). Overall a very well put together app that I think can (and will for me) be helpful for explaining my symptoms and helping myself see what is a trigger.

I’ve been looking for this exact function!
So so glad I found this app! I have episodic cluster headaches and wanted to track visually the frequency and patterns. It has been exactly what I wanted. I love that you can customize the graphs and also simultaneously track medications, other symptoms, etc to see how they all overlap. I am very grateful to have found this after hunting around and trying a few other symptom trackers. This one does exactly what I wanted!

Needs iCloud Backup
This would be the perfect app if it backed up to Apple’s cloud. I don’t really want another account with another password just to backup one app. I already have an account with Apple. Why get one with Microsoft, drop box, or Google (especially not Google).
Please fix it!
UPDATE: since the latest update, the heat map crashes the app, so it’s unusable (subscription cancelled before the trial period luckily). The charts are showing dots instead of actual bars, so they make little sense with the bars from before the update. Seriously, the update ruined this app. I really liked it, too. Please fix jt!

Really good
Really like this app. It doesn’t feel as high maintenance/effort as other pain tracking apps. It’s super customizable too and I like the export feature. I also appreciate its focus on privacy.
Very good app, was sold on a % of subscription going to a charity of my choice
Would really like to be able to track menstrual cycle to see if symptoms typically get worse with hormone fluctuations. And the peri/menopause symptoms too. Great app. Thanks
The best tracker I’ve found
I have tried dozens of symptom trackers. I suffer from New Daily Persistent Headache, which is a single headache that has been my constant companion for over three years now. I use symptom trackers to try to understand what correlations exist to see if I can figure out where to take action to eliminate this ever-present pain. Chronic Insights is hands-down the best tracker I’ve found. It allows me to input the data I want to track, doesn’t require me to add things that are of no interest to me, and provides a graph showing the trends. I love the fact that it has no ads. No urging me to upgrade or buy anything. It just exists quietly on my phone, always opened and ready for my next symptom update.
Kudos and thanks for an amazing product!

Wonderful tool to share with my doctor
4/22/25 Update (original review below) - I have developed a new pain in my ankles, so I’ve used the 3D model over the past month. When I went in for my appt today I took my iPad and showed my rheumatologist the diagrams. First, because of my visualization she has a good idea of what is causing this new pain and ordered an ultrasound to confirm. Second, she loves this app! She wrote down the name and wants to tell her other patients about it, as sometimes they find it difficult to describe their pain, but if they can show her on a 3D model, that will make it so much easier. I told my husband when I got home and he said I should get a commission. Haha! But I just wanted to share my doctor’s amazement with this app. So thank you!

I downloaded Chronic Insights last summer when I was diagnosed with non radiographic axial spondylitis (similar to ankylosing spondylitis). I’m so glad I had this app, as after a few months when I started on my biological injections, I was able to see clearly when the pain started lessening. I printed off the graph of “Insights” to share with my doctor, and she was so excited to be able to see the dramatic results I was experiencing after my 3rd injection. Seeing my results brought tears to her eyes. She said she wanted to frame that chart. 😊 Now, a few months later, I’m starting to have some issues again. But I’ll be able to take my new printed chart in with me, and once we decide on a new course of treatment I’ll be able to visualize how the new treatment is working.
I am so thankful for this app! I paid for the premium version so I could see how weather affects my symptoms. I’ve learned when the air pressure rises, my fatigue also increases, so that has been interesting. I have not used the 3D model.

Optimal Monitoring
This app lets you record pain levels and symptoms of your choice. You can also add notes/details. It provides you with great insight by drawing a graph of recorded information. I appreciate having the possibility of assessing symptoms through questionnaires, also used by healthcare providers.

EXCELLENT!
After years of trying to jot my symptoms down in note books, or on paper that get lost, this is the most amazing thing that’s ever been made. I paid for the yearly subscription due to it being very cost effective. I’ve tried all the other apps out there and by far this one is the best I’ve had. You can pinpoint your pain on a 3D Model, add in test results and everything. I don’t know how this app isn’t more known to everyone and I wish I found it years ago! The guy who made this also has insta where he posts demos if you get stuck, which is also more helpful. I’m now on a waiting list for a rheumatologist and using this app will really help when I see them, as you can save it as a PDF and print it out! You will honestly not be disappointed with this app!

Very helpful
Have been using this app for 1 week to track osteoarthritis pain , meds etc.
Have looked at many other apps but nothing comes near this app for functionality and flexibility.
There are a lot of useful features and now getting the hang of it. Would be helpful to have some guidance notes on how to use for different features .
Have already recommended to others and will progress to Premium when I am really confident with the free version.

Excellent
Using the app is quite simple but very effective in terms of identifying the symptoms, the pain level and to identify trends. The paid for version is definitely worth it, the 3D model allows the user to locate exactly where the pain is and the pain level. The playback feature allows you to see the instances of symptoms over a period of time, very informative.
The developer is very open to suggestions and regularly updates the app.

Absolutely Amazing
I have tried so many different apps to keep track of my symptoms and this is the only one that clicked with my brain in a way that made it easy to remember to do. I keep it up to date and check in a couple times a day. I can visualize the fluctuations better with the graphs, and I love being able to export them to print and show to my doctors. I haven’t tried premium yet, but this app is seriously amazing and the only thing that clicks with me. Plus I love how many options there are for disorders, there’s a lot on there that you don’t usually see in apps like this. I recommend this app to all of my friends, and they all love it too. The custom symptom feature is also really cool, since there’s a very wide range of symptom experiences that aren’t included in the actual symptoms list yet! Thank you for this app, it’s wonderful.

A truly wonderful app
It really is a wonderful app, I love that I can visually see all my pains in charts and being able to rate the pain. THANK YOU for creating an app for people that struggle with pain
Vital to Future Health Care
What is pain?
It seems that there are some, actually many, who remain unable to understand pain. To understand what pain it is or how it originates. There is research and innovation hope that this will change soon.
Social problems caused a new legislative approach to medicine and pain. For the legitimately ill, its effect was dramatic. The process of discussing pain changed to evidence based. That is the patient needs to approach their care giver with data that more adeptly characterized pain in all its complexity and misdirection. It might be fairly called evidence.
Future health will change the role of the patient in their own care. A greater more active role in assembling, unifying and telling their health story.
When done very well, as in this app, it tells that story in a manner best understood by care givers. Complete. Accurate. Contextual. These traits of the app also create new opportunity to discover unknown correlations in the condition that could lead to a new treatment approach.

Perfect for communicating pain to medical professionals
After getting some sciatic pain I found this app which really helps to show the doctors and physios exactly where the pain is and how intense it is which helps them treating it. Thanks very much for creating it!
Wow!
Amazing app. Nothing else like it, and the developer, James, loves questions and feedback to make it even better.
I like it.
I’m happy with this app.
