Service members deserve better
It’s a very bad app with outrageous security requirements, clunky UI, slow processing speeds, and is just all around useless. You can’t do anything on the app. And you can’t do anything on the app and website at the same time in 2026 because that’s basically trying to steal nuclear launch codes. It’s clear Citi is just cashing the contract checks and leaving the service members to deal with this junk. This app needs to be brought into not just 2026, but the 21st century.

Changing password
Changing passwords is a miserable experience. Being unable to copy and paste from the password manager means typing it on a little screen keyboard. The password is blanked ‘for security’ so you can’t see
Doesn’t integrate well with Apple password manager, which will only write to the first one. You’ll have to write it down then manually enter on the little keyboard for the second entry.
Apparently 18 characters is the maximum so a proper secure password is blocked. It has to have certain ‘special’ characters, but the checking is broken so even if you do it still rejects the password. Or maybe i mistyped, i couldn’t tell.
All in all a horrible experience. One step away from ‘make them reboot after every typo’. It’s so miserable it has to be malicious.

Bad user interface
Very small character with grey color and bad contrast difficult to read. No zoom. Menu not comprehensive. How can we propose a such interface on modern devices ?

I got to congratulate you on your third consecutive year of being the most horribly designed and buggiest app of ALL apps that I have on my phone. It takes a lot of wrong doing, ill-practices, miss-management and a dedication to zero quality to achieve this state! Congratulations!
Unusable
Terrible app and even worse customer service, specially their AI service. Couldn’t recommend against it more!
Glitchy mess
The app will hit me with a “rate your experience with this app” notification but then not let me click any option, hard locking me from using the app. When I exit and re-enter, it tells me I need to log out of the previous section and, again, not let me click any option thus hard locking me from using the app. It also is unresponsive in accepting the one-time code they send via SMS. Not good for a banking app to have these kinds of problems.

Great app
This a great app to see real time charges.
Multiple sessions
The app will randomly ask for permission to do SharePlay. No matter your choice it will crash the app (black screen that never loads anything). Forcing you to close the app and reopen it. When you go to log in it says you have to log out of your other session before logging in. However, it is impossible to logout because it just reroutes you back to the login page. This forces you to wait until your idle unviewable session auto-logs you out before attempting to actually log in. Why would the new session login not just force a log off of the idle session. This is all from one device (phone based CitiManager app), it’s not like I am trying to log in on my phone and computer at the same time.

What good is an app if you can’t do anything?
If you can not perform expense reports, what is the point of the app?? If I have to use the webpage to do expenses, why do I need an app to order cards and see statements when the webpage does all that??

Unusable app
This app won’t even open. As it’s trying to enable Face ID it thinks you have another session open. Don’t waste your time with this garbage.
Fast and responsive app
It would be great if there was a function to lock your credit card. I lost mine and didn’t know how to cancel it. I live in New Zealand and it was very hard to figure out how to put it on hold.
Predatory Bank
Awful institution. App is predatory. Many features don’t work as intended to cause you to incur a late payment charge. Support is overseas and will route you back to the main menu. Stay away
Getting worse not better
Had to replace my card. Showed 0USD for expedited. The actual amount was cut off. Have the new card, shows a balance and won’t let me pay the balance. Tried to exit and try again now it says only one session allowed at a time… One app single device, buggier than a banking app should be.
Army Problems
Trying to get my GTC and this corpo won’t let me sign in to check the status. It keeps telling me there is a problem or when I try any of the select OTP options non of them work. Literally first time trying it and it doesn’t work.

Only allow you to talk to automated agent. No option to talk to a human and AI agent is not helpful in anything apart from basic operations
