This app is usually good but the last update caused app to crash before fully loaded.

My last year with City Saver
Yep, just like the title says unfortunately this will be the last time I use City Saver. Ever since I was in school I remember that I helped sell these books and then they turned over to the app and then they got rid of the books while I love supporting local businesses and would love to keep helping City Saver. There is one thing that they need to fix and they can win me back the map function. I’ve tried everything I can to look into it and find out how to get rid of other locations that show up that are not part of the city saber eat play Discover but I still see stuff like Sam’s Club Chick-fil-A and other places that don’t even belong in the eat play Discover it’s annoying to click on everything and find out that there’s nothing there there. There’s no coupons. Why are you wasting my time?

App has been stuck on “Loading City Saver” each time app is launched for over 24 hours — weekends are when we are most likely to use the coupons.

App is broken
When attempting to activate via mobile app, the app does not send activation code via email as it is supposed to do. This is a basic thing that should work 100% of the time.
Too simple, needs improvements
app seems a bit too simple. Would like to open it and be able to have a search bar not click on Eats, then search/scroll thru an alphabetical list of all who are participating, etc. Redemption “click” on also seems to easy! I’d hate to accidentally click on a coupon and its considered “redeemed” and it doesn’t give any type of code to use at the business either. So everytime, I mention I have the app, I have to show see Im clicking on the redeem coupon and make sure my cashier is paying attention.
Be nice to have upgrades of new places added on throughout the year as well. Seen too many places that have signed up but have gone out of business and then I have coupons still listed that I can’t use.

Tons of local coupons!
This app is a “must have” for anyone in the Nashville area! Tons of BOGO coupons to restaurants and fun places all over town!
Definitely not what it used to be
There are only a fraction of the options that there used to be with the book. I was shocked at how few coupons there actually were. Most of the “eat“ options are just for sweet shops and bakeries and the “discover” options are pretty much non existent. They don’t allow you to preview the available coupons before purchasing so you’re stuck once you buy it. I would definitely not purchase again unless they get many more coupons or at least let you preview what you will be getting.

Not what it used to be
I can only speak for Memphis but the selection of coupons is only a FRACTION of what it used to be when they had the books. Even the options that they have are not nearly as good and it offers very few restaurants. Most of the “restaurant” coupons are just candy stores and sweets shops. I definitely regret the purchase and I will not be buying again.

Super disappointed
We loved this last year but now without the book you literally lose HALF of the coupons from before. They should have doubled the coupons in the app but did not. And several things that we used last year are no longer available this year and you don’t know that until you have already purchased it! With the book you could go through it to see if you’d use it. Will not be purchasing again. For me this was not a deal this year. We’re very disappointed.

Love this app!
We buy a City Saver every year because the savings it offers can’t be beat and it supports a great cause. The addition of the app is just the icing on the cake! It’s easy to use and has so many great merchants on it. And no more forgetting your coupons! Love the fact that I can search by my location and get directions, links to websites, etc.
