Change your alcohol habit with daily check ins.

I’ve set a reminder on my phone to check into this app each day at 9:30 pm.
The check-in involves 5 steps. Inspire, Learn, Act, Self Reflect, and Drink Logging. Each day you get help with different topics including tips to add to your toolkit to deal with your next urge or craving to drink. It’s a great app to help you on your journey. Their customer service is excellent. Good luck!

Wish I could hit “restart”

I love the app except for the time progression. You can’t take a break and start over. When you don’t log in for a day or more, you miss content. The program will provide content that matches, say, two weeks of progress even if you have really only worked through one week’s progress over that time period. I understand how important it is to log in very consistently to achieve success, but I hope there’s room for flexibility somehow because I am not that precise.

Response from developer

First off, thanks for being part of the Clarity community! It means a lot to hear from our users and understand how we can improve the program. Your feedback makes a lot of sense, and we'd love to offer a more self-paced option moving forward. Free Version: Not great

The free version doesn’t allow you to log drinks on previous days. Only current day. This is essential for me so I won’t keep using the app.

Response from developer

I'm very sorry you're running into this! You should be able to log your drinks on any day, past or present, when using the free version of the app. Do you mind reaching out to support@gainclarity.co so we can fix this for you? Apologies again about the experience, and hope to hear from you soon.

Very cool

They need to offer promo sales or something because it’s WAY too expensive. With that said, it is helping me a lot. I do recommend it.

Thank you, thank you!

I started using this app when I promised myself (not for the first time) that I’d get my drinking under control. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a skeptical and stubborn person, and I didn’t have the highest hopes going in. But I told myself I’d give it an honest shot and show up every day for a month. And you know what? I did. And then I showed up for the next month, and I’m halfway through my third month now.

Along the way, I’ve gone from drinking every single day and waking up looking and feeling terrible to only occasionally thinking about drinking and having the energy to live my life again. The emphasis on how alcohol affects your brain chemistry and emotions was very helpful, and I feel like I finally understand my relationship with alcohol and how to change it.

Unlike some other programs I tried, the app isn’t filled with doom-and-gloom scare tactics, just practical and straightforward information and advice. I haven’t felt this healthy, confident, and clear-headed in years. Thank you for making a program that’s realistic, empathetic, and encouraging - it’s made a huge difference in my life!
