Watch to play is broken.
This is the 3rd time I’ve tried to add a review. Keep getting kicked off every time I get close to finishing. So, I’ll get straight to the point. The watch to play is broken. I click on that it opens a game, I play a little and there’s no way out except to close the game. Love the game and if that was fixed it would be 5 stars.
Also, there are a lot of scammers out there. I’ll play anyone but when I do I check the profile. If they have little to no stats they are usually trying to scam. If the game would allow people to see the players stats before starting a game that would be a good way to thwart these scammers. In general I don’t mind wasting their time and will accept their messages just to mess with them and hopefully waste their time so they can’t scam others.

Adds containing adult themes
I like playing this game but recently I keep getting adds saying that I have been hacked and because I have been looking at adult only sites. This is totally unacceptable by Zynga to have adds saying this. Your need to address this immediately.
Too Many Ads
I know you have to make money but the free version shouldn’t bombard you withs ads after every play. If you want me to enjoy the game please cut back the adware issue.
Not very creative
This game suffers from a complete lack of creativity. If it “randomly” selects letter for play, I see the same 7 letters appear much to often. Developers lack the skills to develop an improved game.
Words with Friends sucks…
…or, more accurately, the dictionary sucks. It seems that anyone can make up a word, submit it, and it gets added to the lexicon. On the flip side, perfectly valid words are excluded because one of the word’s dozen definitions can be construed by a tiny subset of the population as “offensive”. Gameplay is frequently place random tiles in a random location and see if it produces a “valid” word.

Fake adverts
The latest loser advert shows a window claiming that your account has been restricted because your device has been hacked and you need to download an app from “the store”. Zynga should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this kind of deception.
Rampant Ads, cheating AI, and Scammers Galore
The game used to be really fun. But now every time you make a move, there’s an ad. If you play the machine solo, it eventually starts just loading you up with all vowels or all consonants and cheats to win. If you do decide to play someone, they are probably just a scammer who immediately messages you and tries to get you to send them crypto.
Zynga is just trying to feed you ads now and they don’t really care about user experience. Get it if you want, but you’ll quickly see what I’m talking about. I switched to the NYT version. Much better experience.

Do not get this app.
In the first 24 hours I was messaged by 10 different obvious scammers.
When I reached out to the gambling corporation responsible they banned each scammer from using the chat function for 1 day. What a joke.
The game itself works ok but the ads after every single play are irritating to the nth degree and absolutely relentless. The pure money grubbing greed is something else. It could have been something really good.

Excessive ads
This app is plastered with ads. Horrible user experience.
Too many adds
Don’t download this one, you have to watch a 1-2 minute add after every single turn. There are plenty others out there with less adds and it’s the same thing.
Awful support
Twice now I have purchased a package and both times the ability to get 30 coins a day was removed.
This means I cannot buy boosts to my team. When I messaged support, the first time my message was removed. Then I got a robot answer telling me they were ‘trialling’ things. This was the same response I got after it happened a year ago, but I found I could still get the coins videos in WWF classic.
Since buying the ad-free package, I now cannot get the coins videos in WWF classic either.
They claimed they’d credited me with 30 coins when they had not. I’d kept a record of my coins count.
I messaged back and my my conversation was closed with no response when I asked for either my coins videos back or a refund for the package I purchased.
I’m fed up. The ads are too numberoys and prohibitive. I only stay because of the friends I have in my team and I supported the team by buying boosts with my coins. Now I can’t even do that, so what IS the point?
I’ve been a loyal player, have a Wordle streak of way over 500 and this is what they do.
Do not spend money on this game is my advice! You get less than nothing back.

Errors
Hopefully they fix glitches before it comes off Facebook. I tried starting playing on the app before the Facebook version went away. Playing against other real people seems to go fine. But if you try to play against the computer, after a few games it throws a failed to synchronize error. No matter what I tried I cannot get the error to clear. Rebooting game, reinstalling game, rebooting phone. If you like the quicker play against the computer, pass on this for now.
