Is this a scam?
I got this app/subscription to use at my local Tesco (listed on the app), then go to use it and it’s compeltly doesn’t work and the Tesco is advertising a slightly different app (clean car club+), emailed

Really terrible app
Really terrible app! Very slow and clunky and doesn’t even have the option for my local car wash on the list!
Very poor app
Turned up at my local Tesco to find a car wash system had been replaced from something nice and simple, pick a number swipe your phone, to this app.
During the login process to the app and afterwards when using the app it was incredibly slow and un-reactive. Several times I thought it had lost network connection because of the spinning ball in the app took so long to change pages.
The app is relatively unintuitive and takes some fumbling around to figure out. And some particularly silly faults like trying to send a feedback form to them the keyboard covers the send button so you can’t actually send it.

DO NOT subscribe - you will lose money
Had 4 car washes within 10 minutes of me so subscribed. Within a week they’ve removed 3 from the list and the remaining one doesn’t allow the car wash to start when it’s done by app so is a total scam. Constantly contact the company about the broken wash but never once refunded nor responded to. Extremely bad app, extremely poor service - pay £6 and let some illegals wash your car for you instead, at least they can’t scam you.

Car washes do fail but this platform only receives payment when a user can wash their car so we are very keen to keep the car washes working!
Avoid this!
Avoid this! I paid for a subscription, but the service doesn’t work. It keeps demanding payment every time I try to access a program, even though I’m already subscribed. No fix, no help—total scam. Save your money!

We were exchanging emails with yourself about this subscription issue and sent you an email on 24th June offering to refund your subscription payment or refund the pay-as-you-go payment you made and give you two weeks subscription for free but, unfortunately, we did not receive a reply. Perhaps you could check to see if you received that offer? Either way the subscription payment was returned to you.
Car Cleaned - Now the App!
The app and features are very good, although the app needs a polish with a better user interface.

Bad bits - the app itself is pretty clunky and you find you need to shut it down and restart. The washes themselves do have issues where they’re out of service.

The washes themselves are now much more reliable than a year ago as I think some upgrades have taken place. Again I cover a large part of the uk so can give an opinion, not just on my local wash but plenty.
Overall would definitely recommend and plenty have subscribed and been happy they did off the back of that.

Wow Amazing app
I’m so happy with this app and being a good customer for long time now. I read lots bad reviews but believe me if you be patient and follow steps correctly once you will understand how easy and you can enjoy some discount compare to local car washers. Thank you team CCC
Rubbish
Looked an idiot when in the car wash and it wouldn’t activate wash despite it reminding me loads of times while waiting 20 minutes in a queue
Horrible app experience and charged twice
I downloaded this simply wanting to make the car wash experience streamlined but it did the opposite.
The app is not well designed, with it being very clunky. When I selected the specific wash I was going for, you have to pay on a browser window instead of within the app.
When I did this first time my app then froze after the payment and when reopening the app there was no recognised orders. I went through the steps again, this time with Apple Pay and it was successful.
I have contacted their support about being double charged and I have heard nothing. I will be speaking to my bank to get the double payment refunded.

Absolutely shocking
Used the QR code to download the app and paid for a car wash. Drove into the car wash and nothing happened. Kept waiting and still nothing happened. I went to ask the people who work in the garage who said they’d never heard of the app. It’s ended up taking my money from my bank account for a car wash that I never got! I won’t be using the service again! Don’t bother downloading it’s a waste of time!!!

Hip hip hooray for the app
The app makes the car wash fantastic. You can check whether the car wash is busy or quiet, you can select which wash to have without hanging out of the car window or worse still having to get out and go to the kiosk. And best of all it is cheaper when you subscribe to the club. I have been subscribing since May 2024 and apart from a couple of mechanical issues with the washer itself I have been more than pleased.

Money taken from the bank account but the car wash never started!!
The most useless app ever! Money were taken off the back account but the car wash did not start and I had to leave with car unwashed.
Then could not call anyone and nobody responded to my messages.
Never using this again.

Was Hesitant After Seeing Bad Reviews
I decided not to download this for a while because of the bad reviews and just kept nipping into Sainsbury’s to buy a key code. I don’t know why, I didn’t just try it out because I downloaded it this morning outside the car wash (Feb 2025), selected my location and paid for the wash. I drove in and pressed the ‘start wash’ button on the app and within seconds it was off and working.
Worth downloading if you are unsocialable like me and just want to get your car washed without seeing anyone 😂.

I joined as there was a site at my local supermarket, winner I thought. The site has been off line since mid December, getting queries answered is a joke ! very poor service. Don’t bother

Easy to use the app and a quick process.
Don’t Bother
The App is garbage and the car washes themselves are more often than not out of order! Subscribed to unlimited washes and have only managed to get one wash done due to the car washes local to me being out of action or the app not working to allow me to get it done! Excellent idea but the execution is diabolical…

Doesn’t work
Downloaded and paid but wouldn’t let me start wash despite following instructions. Went into petrol station and was told it very rarely works via the app. I had paid for a monthly plan, don’t make same mistake!
Waste of time
Absolute waste of time spent 10+ minutes downloading it and working through then it didn’t work. Don’t bother.
