Backwards step!
The last update is not what was expected we have Citroen ec4’s and we have linked them to the app as we have a cheap EDF POD tarriff. So the last two occasions I have asked to charge to 100% there has been plenty of time but the app decides not to start at 11am and pauses for one hour! Why! Then it only gets to 96% we have the correct version of this car! We did not have this issue before the update!
Well still can’t charge to 100% keeps deciding to pause the charging sort this out thinking about reverting to the pod point app! Sort this out please!
Still can’t get to 100% when smart charging has plenty of time because it keeps pausing why should I need to switch to basic charging to get 100% sort this out please or allow us to choose when it will pause!

My App won’t stay on Basic (always on) Charging
The app worked well to start with as I selected Basic Charging so that this wouldn’t interfere with my energy supplier tariff. The Pod Home App will randomly move me to scheduled charging and therefore means several times I have come out in the morning with the car not charged to the level I have needed. Frustrating as the previous Pod Point app worked without issue. Will need to contact POD for a fix I guess

The worst App I have ever seen
Do not install this App if you value your privacy, or the right to maintain full control of your EV charging point. The previous PodPoint App just showed statistics of charging and allowed you to set a simple schedule. This new App first of all insists you provide full details of your electricity supplier, smart meter details and your car(s) - including VINs. Other data they can collect includes gender, age, occupation and financial information including bank details. This information can also be shared amongst Pod’s 479 partners.
You are also agreeing to maintain a permanent Internet connection to the EV charging point so Pod can remotely switch on/off the charger and suspend charging sessions at their convenience.
It seems to be a one time choice to accept the terms and relinquish control of your charger.
It is clear that that this application is all about Pod’s French owners EDF taking control of your EV charging to allow them to reduce their demand when energy costs are high. They also impose conditions about not signing up with other suppliers PEAK demand schemes once you have accepted Pod’s agreement.
This is a disgrace. Bring back the simple reporting in the original PodPoint app.

Seamless Migration from the Old App
I was nervous to perform the switch to this new app from the old one. I clicked the link in my old app to start the process. I was automatically logged into the new one, I had to enter a few details and turned on basic charging to maintain charging on my schedule to make sure the charging only takes place in my cheap overnight hours. All my history had migrated from the old app. Very happy!

Response from developer
Hi Rach, thank you, this made our day! Really glad the app's working well for you, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it. The Pod team
Keep it simple
Prefer to set my own charge times. Not interested in these Reward schemes.
For example for my vehicle,
one hour’s charge = 12% .
If my vehicle is at 44% l will set my charger for 3 hours to keep within the 20-80% recommended battery state.
Why over complicate things?
