App is a scam
Booked a cleaner, did not come, rescheduled, did not show up again. When asking for a refund, the chat never answers.

No cleaner available. I scheduled my day at noon so that I could run my errands and CLEANSTER’s kept saying the cleaners had cancelled so it was approximately 3 pm and couldn’t have it done. I requested refund but no answer or call back. I will never use CLEANSTER’s again! I still want my refund.

I did 2 cleaning jobs in January and it’s been almost 4 months and I’m still yet to get my payment, they keep saying it’s in transits and th billing team is working on it. In app they promised something like 2 weeks but it’s been 16 weeks and still yet no payment. Funny enough they keep sending more cleaning jobs my way despite not paying me for the clean I did in January like… bruh

Two days and two cleaners never showed up and trying to get my money back is a nightmare . I am having to go through the better business . Completely fraud and scam .

I do not recommend working for Cleanster if you value transparency, fairness, and getting paid for the work you complete.
My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. One of the biggest issues is their failure to follow their own policies and procedures when it comes to paying cleaners. Jobs are completed as required, often to a high standard, yet payments are delayed for long periods—or worse, never received at all. Reaching out for support or clarification leads to vague responses, runarounds, or no response at all.
There is also a clear lack of accountability. Cleaners are expected to meet strict expectations, show up on time, and complete detailed work, but the company does not hold itself to the same standard when it comes to honoring payment timelines. This creates a one-sided working relationship where the worker carries all the responsibility and risk.
Another concern is the inconsistency in how issues are handled. Policies seem to be applied selectively, and there is little to no protection for cleaners when disputes arise. Even after providing proof of completed work, getting resolution can feel nearly impossible.
Overall, this is not a reliable platform for anyone looking to earn steady income. Until Cleanster improves its payment practices, communication, and accountability, I would strongly advise others to think twice before working with them.

Cleaners never get paid for any jobs they do!!!
First of all, I wanna say CleansterPro is an absolute joke and you’ll be a fool if anyone starts cleaning for this company! First of all I was sent to the wrong address for a clean i accepted to do by the CleansterPro and the address was changed and they knew the new address but still sent me to the wrong address which is 48 minutes away from the address I was supposed to be at,, OK after all that I still went and clean these people‘s house and it took me four hours and still yet to be paid and this has been over a month ago. I can’t get no one on the phone. I can’t talk to nobody. It is an absolute nightmare and I will never do anything else for this company and I hope anybody else wouldn’t either because I’m telling you, it will be a nightmare for y’all to.

This company hired me to clean their properties and is not paying any of the contractors sent out to clean any of their properties! They do not answer phone calls nor emails. They send us out to jobs, make sure the place is very clean, then after they have confirmed the place is clean they ignore you. Do not and I repeat do not hire them as this is a scam company!!!!

This is the worst platform to hire cleaning services. They undervalue the cleaner time, and I don't pay for their cleanings. Do not support this type of business.

This company does not pay its workers, that’s why the cleaners never show up!!! They do not respond to the workers AT ALL!!! But are quick to send them jobs!!! This company has serious issues on both sides: customers booking appointments and cleaners not being paid. It would be wise to skip the app and find a reliable local cleaner.
Terrible Customer Service
You can never get a hold of anyone from customer service immediately. You have the leave a voicemail or email and wait days to get a reply and problem still not solved…
Complete Scam
The cleaner never arrived, yet checked in on the app as if they were cleaning my home. I attempted to contact Cleanster via email, phone and text from the morning until the evening and to this day have not heard back. The cleaner said they completed the job, uploaded before and after pics of a random home and also included their Google image search of before and after pics of a clean home. I was charged, never heard back from cleanser and had to file a claim with my CC company… such a SCAM!

Don’t use them!
Homeowners please don’t use this app. It only pays us $20 per hour to start. So when you see that you have to pay $150 as an example for a house cleaning, know that the cleaner is probably only getting about $60 of that and the rest goes to the app which is highway robbery. If you’re familiar with housekeeping services in your area, know that good cleaners are gonna charge a lot more than $20 per hour. Especially when homeowners are pricing that their home only takes an hour to clean. Which is a lie. I’m sorry, but I’m not driving all the way to town to clean a house for $20. I’ve had three different homeowners. Tell me that they only need an hour and a half worth of cleaning and when I arrived every single one of them, I was there for over three hours and they refused to pay me any extra. Put a complaint in through the app and they still refuse to pay extra in the app did nothing to help me. So basically I did a three hour cleaning job for $30 and the homeowner still complained and threw a fit about every little tiny thing until they got their $30 refunded Customer service or crooks and the homeowners that use this app, don’t understand that this is destroying our businesses because the cost is pathetic. Would YOU clean an entire house, including doing all the laundry, scrubbing the kitchen floor to ceiling, scrubbing, all the bathrooms top to bottom, vacuuming, mopping, and everything else that takes several hours for only $20?.
If you want good quality cleaners and you don’t mind paying a fair and reasonable price, go to the app T.U.R.N.O. This is where all your Airbnb housekeepers are. On this app we can bid our own rates and trust me our rates are fair and you have the option to pick and choose based off what you want to pay. Cleansters rates are not good enough. Not a livable wage. Look at any Airbnb cleaning service and ask them what they would charge you to clean a three bedroom two bathroom house which is an average here where I live. And I guarantee you they wouldn’t say they only charge $40 for two hours of cleaning. My three bedrooms run 110 per Cleaning and that’s cheap in my area. 20/hr is not enough for the work we have to do!!

My first and last experience

Funny how a bot suddenly responds publicly after almost 3 months of ignoring my messages. Oh wait, there was that one reply aside from the automatic ‘we’re sorry we’re looking into this’. But no, offering 15% off my next booking is not a fix.
My experience was frustrating from start to finish. I initially selected a cleaner, but the app later reassigned someone else without my approval. Then, on the day of the cleaning, a third person showed up, someone who didn’t speak English or French. The originally assigned cleaner called me during the appointment only to act as an interpreter and inform me that the person sent was expecting to work 6 hours, although I had booked just 3 to clean 2 rooms.
Despite trying to make it work using ChatGPT to translate, the language barrier and the cleaner’s extremely slow pace made things difficult. After spending half the time on a small, clean bathroom, I had to intervene and redirect her to the kitchen. In the end, only three kitchen cabinets were cleaned, and 80% of the bathroom.
To make matters worse, the app now shows the booking as six hours under the name of the cleaner who never came, and I’m being asked to review her. Lack of transparency, poor communication and unexpected substitutions made this a disappointing first and of course last experience with this company
