Fantastic app - worth buying

This app has been brilliant in helping me learn. I really like how you can customise the way questions are set up, whether you get 4 choices or have to type the word, whether you do written or audio questions. Really good and far more productive than duolingo, at least in my opinion. Great work and well worth paying for the full version.
One request - a new update has caused the "Teach me/Submit" button to be just above the keyboard when typing an answer. Fine. But the issue is it will reactively change from "Teach me" to then show "Submit" when you have typed the write answer. This effectively makes it a really big hint tool, and sights right in your periphery! And I'm at a point in my learning journey where I have turned off all the hints, but I can't turn this off. Please fix and this app will be perfect again.

Language app for serious learners

No nobrainers, just straight to the point: learning a language. You must have some basic knowledge of the alphabet and sounds before starting a very different language from your native one.

Please Fix Radio Function

I have been using the radio function for months for my custom sentences, but since the last update, it only plays a few sentences, and the app completely shuts down without any reason. Please fix the bug.

helpful for vacabulary, but uses genAI and eats battery

I paid for lifetime access (about the cost of four years, at the time) and would like to see this language-learning tool quantitatively shine for its target audience (beginner to intermediate, I think).
I used it years ago and it's still kinda rough around the edges. Some multiple-choice options are obviously wrong; mistyPed or poorly-choosen, which makes me wonder to what degree a robot did the work that a human would be better at?
There are disturbing, uncanny-valley images generated by robots, and that might help with remembering definitions but at what cost? A bunch of creepy robot slop that costs a lot of electricity to make, rather than time and attention from human artists who are alive and like food and exercise, who love and experience awe?
Lastly, Clozemaster eats the battery on this iPad; why? If the questions are already made, and I seldom use the audio, and the visuals are (appreciably) basic, why does this app need so much juice? Is it generating the image, description, and/or the audio even if I don't use those features?

We have a moderation team in charge of enhancing and correcting our material, so please let us know via hello@clozemaster.com which languages and specific collections inside them had these issues with the responses/options. Regarding the AI images (and explanations), please bear in mind that we offer close to 200 language pairings most of them having tens of thousands of sentences each, so storing and/ or creating these by hand would be very hard. However, the AI functionalities are useful for some if not most users, so while we'll likely not get rid of them, we can surely commit to improving/updating their quality. There's not a reason for the iPad's battery issue you mention, please reach out to our support email (same as above) so they can help you troubleshoot this and/ or queue it as a bug if needed. Not for me

I found the structure of this harder than other apps. I don’t like having a sentence I don’t understand and then just paragraphs of explanation underneath. For me, it doesn’t stick in my head and I zone out easily.

Excellent and unique language learning tool

I first tried Clozemaster quite a long time ago and admired it, but I tried it again recently, and it’s flawless. It’s SOOOOO much better to learn new vocabulary in the context of a sentence, and Closemaster is acing this. What I also love and admire is the full, clear explanation for every sentence (word by word, then in context), and the dictionary option for every word.

Βοηθά ειδικά στην επέκταση του λεξικού μου – το παίζω δύο μέρες μόνο και ήδη βλέπω βελτίωση στις γλωσσικές μου ικανότητες και αυτό δεν είναι υπερβολικό. Όμως, δεν μπορείς να κάνεις πάνω από 30 προτάσεις την ημέρα χωρίς πληρωμή. Αναμφισβήτητα θα έδινα 5 αστέρια αν δεν ήταν για αυτό.

Best app to learn vocab for Catalan

I’ve been trying to find a vocab app to help me learn Catalan, and this is by far the best one. The premium subscription is cheap and the “cloze” format helps vocab stick way better than flash cards. This also has you practice the different forms of words, which helps with overall grammar. Due to this, the app is also excellent in other languages such as Spanish. I hope that they expand the Catalan courses!

Great app!

I love this app! it is very, very fun and I look forward to using it at the end of the day. The sentences actually make sense and are phrases I will be using (unlike certain language learning apps, iykyk). I have learned more vocabulary and grammer in the past 3 days on Clozemaster than 100 days on certain OTHER apps. The thing I dont like about it is that I have to pay to not have a limit to learning time.

This app is free to download, fun to play, very easy to set up, and best of all, SUPER EDUCATIONAL! it exceeded my expectations and I would reccomend it to beginners-experts in languages! HEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHHEEHEEHEHEHEHHEHEHHEHEHEHHEHEHEHHHHEHHEHEHEHEHEHH

$80?! It’s a flash card app!!!

Was my favorite way to study for a long time.. novel approach to flash card learning and a great supplement to any routine

But this latest update locked reviewing >30 words behind a $80 annual fee. I understand paywalling new features- but retroactively limiting the core utility of the app? And a reoccurring subscription??? Obnoxiously greedy

There’s quite a few Flash Card Apps out there that don’t charge $80 to use, I’ll be giving them a shot
