Lacks credibility
Too often I’ve found reports inaccurate, too shallow in depth or just simply misleading. These are not politically bias reports either, after all every news agencies is biased , but simply reports on events or occurrences.
Glitches
This app has glitched for months. Can’t swipe up or down, it decides to flash and have to close the app. And that only temporarily pauses it.
Absolutely Terrible
Too many ads, pay to read, biased opinionated content. A joke to call this a major news outlet
BS Subscriber only articles
Lots of stale articles, annoying ads and pay to read bs popups. Total flop of app!
Cheap Trick
After years of service on Mobile Phones we are now expected to subscribe, my dollars are best spent elsewhere.
Good News Source
I find CNN to be generally a good place to go to for news. A bit on the Trump obsessed side and very pro Israel and pro genocide but ok otherwise. Good news source but must be balanced with other new sources.
Deleted due to subscription requirement
I deleted this app after using it for over a decade because CNN switched to a subscription service. I will stick with AP News for their excellent free reporting.
All CNN Ads
We’ve paid for CNN for decades and now they want to charge more for content. And even things that aren’t labeled ‘for subscribers’ are not available when opened. Time to delete this app.
Doesn’t work
I’m a subscriber. CNN coverage justifies the cost, but the app simply isn’t working. All I get is the red splash screen. Nine out of ten times that I try to open the app, I never get beyond the red screen and the CNN logo. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading the app. Nothing works. Very annoying. I will have to cancel my subscription if CNN does not resolve this bug.

After being over 10 years reading CNN news, time to say goodbye due to most articles need subscriptions.

Unfortunately as an international reader Ivan no longer access many articles as they need a subscription an these are only available in the US

Have basic subscription that does not allow me to read articles anymore.
Sent messages to ask for help but not response!
I restarted it, deleted it and reinstalled it several times, restarted my phone each time, but nothing helps!!

The Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information toggle does not stay in the No position. It reverts back to Yes after a period of time.

The app and perhaps even more the network’s focus is more on entertainment than news…..cnn is a joke

Love CNN news. Recently added to AppleTV. Streaming live, of course there are commercials. Commercials are fine but there’s only one commercial. SIX IDENTICAL COMMERCIALS IN A ROW! Please try for some diversity.

You pay. Except for the titles you have no access to any news on this App. Watch it on television. I have deleted the App on my phone. We many and much better choices.
Too many commercials for their own shows.
I like CNN, however, when I try to stream on their app, there are sometimes when I have to sit through five minutes of commercials for their own shows. Please cut back on the amount of self promotion and get down to the news and commentary. That’s what I’m paying for.
