Forcing subscribers…?
What’s the point of a “breaking news” app that FORCES us to subscribe just to read emergency news stories? Rather go with one of dozens of other news sites that don’t require people to give up their contact information to a “news” site like CNN…

Limited articles and then you have to subscribe
It’s beyond me that I can only read certain amount of articles and then it asked me to subscribe and pay for it! News should be free just like the other outlets USA TODAY, MSN and the list goes on but after reading 2 to 3 articles you are forced to Subscribe or re-launch the app one star!
Disappointing
I had the CNN News app before but decided to try other apps. Just came back to CNN and now it’s not free anymore. Back to one of the free ones.
Listening Portion Frustrating
I enjoy the app for the most part and enjoy being able to listen to the broadcast when I’m driving. However, the weird music over the commercial breaks is the most annoying thing ever. Repeating the same commercials over and over was pretty annoying already, but since they’ve implemented this ridiculous music stretch for 2-3 minutes, I waffle on even listening at all. I have to turn my volume off and keep checking to see if the broadcast has returned. I wish you would just let the normal tv commercials play.

I used to enjoy getting my news on CNN. Now every article is “subscriber only”. Screw this app!
Geo Error
Works on IPad but abruptly stopped working Apple TV. You would think that deleting the App would allow me to sign back in. NOPE. Apple’s elephant memory and iCloud just log me back in and repeats the Geo Error every damn time. And yes everything is updated, restarted and the like. Worked this morning. But I can airplay it … lol.

Deleting app
At one time I would use this app daily. Now every time I try to read a story it is for paid subscribers only. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Was advertised as free news, limiting some articles, ok. But hitting a free article limit in like 2 hours is ridiculous. Will delete.

App is being rendered useless. Barely use it but I hit my ‘free limit’?? Guess if it’s that easy to hit I can’t use it anymore. Peace out.

Don’t ask me to agree to a terms of service contract for READING THE NEWS. You are not a message board or a forum. You provide no way for user input or site interaction that would require the necessity of such information gathering. You are literally a platform to access and read articles about the news of the day…or at least, I thought you were. Deleted.

Pay for CNN is malfunctioning
I paid the annual fee of $29.99 but I keep getting kicked off the app. Please fix it!
UPDATE: 2 years later, I continue to be kicked off the app. Fix it, please. Also, fee rose to $69.99 this year!

Deleting app
Every time I try to read an article newsworthy it says I reached my free limit. DELETED!!!
