Apple Watch

Overall I appreciate the functionality of this app. One major problem for me is that it does not give an audible alert when I am wearing my apple watch. Not even a vibration. Is there a way to get that fixed?
I think this app would be rated 5 if it was apple watch compatible.

Alert fatigue

I use this app when I am on call for my medical group, generally works well, but it keeps telling me that I have an unread message when there are none. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, The alert remains despite no unread messages.

On call

Since the app has updated I have been unable to change our on call schedule. When I go to the more screen it’s just blank. I have restarted my phone, deleted and redownloaded the app twice and nothing has fixed it. When I try to submit something to customer service nothing goes through. Don’t know how to fix this.

Please save filters

The app is functional enough to be workable, but functionality like persistent filters have apparently been elusive. Edit: I seem to have gotten a response about different users' preferences. *This is my point*. Allow ME to decide if filters are "sticky" as such functionality is either useful or benign to EVERYONE. Edit: another update; another update that did not include this simple functionality. This app is all about interface; nothing more.

ASD is worth the money

They finally got notifications to work which was a problem. I’m sure all the answering service people are great and sweet but the app is horrible. There’s no transcript, no way to listen to first call messages, more than half the time information is wrong, they will have it listed as church is calling when it’s really cemetery and have limited notes so you barley know what you’re calling back for it makes us look unprofessional. If they aren’t going to give better in depth notes they need to give us the ability to listen to the calls ourselves or at least have a transcript so we can be prepared before calling. The app itself is not visually appealing for one but also unorganized. Sorry but the extra pretty penny is worth it to spend on ASD if you care about your business and professionalism. I’d rather take all the calls myself at this point than having to stress out because we never get accurate or all the needed information.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing the feedback. Currently, the app is designed not to save filters between sessions so users always see up-to-date data when reopening the app. This approach has benefits for many users, but we recognize that it may not fit everyone's workflow.  We truly appreciate your input and will consider it as we evaluate future changes during retheming.

Event Answering Service

We run a Christmas Event and we love this service for taking calls for our event.

Our onboarding specialist was extremely helpful and I feel went out of her way to help us save money. The app itself is easy to understand. I’m struggling with the app sending me a notification if there is an escalation, but it could be something I’m doing wrong.

The responsiveness of our account manager, “Ivana” alone gives this service 5 stars.

Horrible

Any rating more than 1 star, likely written by someone who has rarely if ever used the app. I also agree with GU Doc. Was on call last night and horrible call night in part due to the app. Randomly logs me out having to rely on the back up calls from answering service more then the app. This resulted in many delayed call backs to hospital and unit. The app seems not ready for its serious responsibilities.

Garbage

Still unreliable. Just checked, “no messages.” Picked up iPad, found messages I hadn’t seen. Logged out and back on and found them on phone

This software is terribly buggy and unreliable. Wouldn’t use it for important things unless forced to

The opposite of customer service

This app is ridiculously difficult. I cannot even log in any more and this “communication” app has no ability to allow users to easily communicate with them. I need this app to avoid continuous escalations but I have no idea how to resolve this and no idea how to get help except this review. And yes I did delete and reinstall and check for updates.

Update failure.

Recent update causes app to no longer work. iPhone 14Pro running iOS 18.3.1. This is a physician’s answering service tool. How is having app failures a permissible thing. Must work and work every time.

The definition of inefficiency

I wish I could be in the room when discussion takes place about moving from a human based, very purposeful answering service for medical groups to this abomination. I’m not sure what it saves, but it’s definitely not time, energy, and sanity. It’s 2025, why can’t we just use our biometrics to log into apps? Why do we have to reset our password every time we log into this? Not to worry, though, you will get multiple escalation alert alerts while you are trying to reset your password.

Messages get lost

App was working ok and this week after receiving an alert, and you click on it, the message is gone! You have to look back under “7 days” to find the message, because it is not listed under “today”. Also the homepage icon still shows that the message was unchecked although the message was open and checked. Please fix asap. Very frustrating.

This app is terrible!

Sometimes it works for a couple hours, most of the time it does not. The call service will call me before I even get a text. Then I will inevitably get hung up on when they are trying to connect me to whoever called. If you do get a notification, it will be silent, even if your volume is all the way up…..be prepared to be disappointed .

Worst part about being on call

App rarely works well. Doesn’t send push notifications, message won’t fully load. Call service doesn’t relay all the pertinent information. Like, a phone number to call back.

Now even worse

New update. Now even worse. Totally unusable. How is this company even in business?

Notification Issues on iOS 18.1.1

Dear Dev Team,

Many users, including myself, are experiencing issues with notifications in the app while running the latest iOS version (18.1.1).

Here’s a potential approach to help diagnose and resolve the issue:
•Use your development tools to emulate both a working and broken version of notifications
•Enable debugging and compare the logs. I’ve noticed issues on devices with iPhone 16 architecture, which might provide a clue.

Additionally, I’ve observed the following behavior that might be helpful in identifying the problem:
•Manually disabling notifications in the iOS settings does not trigger any prompt within the app to re-enable them.
•Even after navigating to the app’s notification settings, there’s no indication or guidance to restore notifications, suggesting there might be an issue with how notifications are implemented.

I hope this information is helpful.

Terrible.

This app is horrendous. Disservice to safe patient care.

Umm, no

If you’re looking for a call service and they use this app, MOVE ON! It’s too late for us, but it’s not too late for you.
