So disappointed with Colectivo’s rewards system
As the title says. I love Colectivo and go anytime I can, but the points system requires you to buy ~18 specialty drinks to get one free (earn 5 stars per, but costs 90). Not only is this an absurdly small reward per purchase, but those points expire after a year.
I’ll never be able to go often enough to get a free drink again. I don’t expect free things constantly, but sucks that it’s not even feasible. Moving forward, I’ll instead be supporting chains that want to reward loyalty, not just farm it.

Doesn’t work
It’s impossible to complete the set up process because the verification code never arrives. I’ve deleted the app.
Difficult
The app is clunky and I cannot use my points to get anything now, despite having way more than enough. There’s no support to contact either.
Update broke the app
App says needs to update then goes fully white, never fixed itself. I deleted and redownloaded and this happens every time. Need better software engineers
lacks function
you can’t even adjust level of sweetness. isn’t that one of the most basic things you need to know for a coffee order???
Buggy
When the ‘make this my default payment method’ slider is selected and I click to place my order, it just returns me to the menu. That button doesn’t work for me, I could only place an order when it was not selected.
TIME WASTER
WILL NOT SAVE YOU TIME. The interface of this app is atrocious. Your login info won’t save so you will have to either create a account with their lengthy process every time you enter the app, or fish through email for confirmations every 30 seconds. Prices aren’t listed when you’re browsing. The customization menu is obtuse. I don’t even write bad reviews, but this app is so terrible I wanted to save others the trouble.

Very bad
I was unable to proceed without creating an account, and the app was so dysfunctional creating the account was not possible.
Weak
There is no way to order coffee ahead of time except for this app, and half the time my local place in Andersonville doesn't accept app orders anyway.

No double points
I’m not getting double points on retail products on Tuesdays anymore despite the rewards program still advertising that. Can you please fix this?
Horrible “update”
I’m unsure what Colectivo is doing but this series of updates was poorly planned. Forced to upgrade to latest iOS or the app will not work. I am no longer able to login and order.
Update ruined app
This new update ruined the app, if it ain't broke don't fix it - or make the fix make sense.
Worst app ever. Had to change coffee shops
I mean like the title says, actually the worst app I’ve ever used. It’s like the company is actively working on a solution to not take my business. Had to switch coffee shops as a result, was trying to support local but don’t have time to wait 25 minutes every time i go in.
Latest Update as of June 2025
The app is slow, unresponsive, and basic functionality frequently fails as of the version on 6-29-2025.
new app is broken
food options won’t load in the app anymore, only beverages. the app was perfectly functional before. I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.
Can’t use my points!!
I have a significant amount of points, but I can’t figure out how to apply them at checkout!
Update is not as user friendly
The app does not allow you to add funds to your account at checkout. You have to back out to the main page and navigate a series of tabs to add funds. Really annoying and not intuitive.
Updates Took a Good App and Made It a Terrible Experience to Use
New updated app is a HUGE step backwards. The ‘order again’ option does not retain prior order customizations, it automatically adds a tip (for my order, equates to 30%, so requires me to change), and I no longer get an email for my mobile order so I don’t know when it’s ready. Not to mention they are now charging $.75 to add honey to tea!

Horrible update
The new app has genuinely ruined my mornings. It’s unfriendly to users, clunky, visually displeasing, constantly crashes, refuses to load, items are difficult to find, the tipping is now automatically added, I could go on with its flaws. Bring back the old app, this new one is the worst app I’ve ever downloaded.
