Rarely can I get it to scan
I have tried numerous times by deleting and reinstalling the app. It used to scan the barcodes but now it doesn’t work properly.
Next drawing Dates are in the past
I’ve noticed this happening lately. iPhone 11 iOS 26.3.1

Lacking compared to other states
Many other state lottery apps not only let you see how much you’ve won but allow much more like the app for Ohio letting you purchase tickets through the app and letting you cash out through the app. Responses to others suggesting that the app at least show you how much you have won are met with the response “ For security reasons, only in-store terminals are authorized to verify and determine the amount of any winnings. We're sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.” So how are many other state apps allowed to show winnings and not Colorado, make it make sense. I feel like the Colorado app is lacking compared to other states.

App is Out of Date (of course)
This isn’t a great app to begin with. It doesn’t even tell you the amount you’ve won when scanning tickets, which is a huge hassle. But now it’s been well over a month since Millionaire for Life started and the app still isn’t updated. Colorado Lottery is always dropping the ball. I can almost never buy scratchers from vending machine because they’re sold out and not restocked. And now this app still has the long-ended Lucky for Life game. It’s like Colorado runs their lottery games out of their garage. Please get it together already. It’s embarrassing.

I realize that M4L may not last, but there is still no sign of it on this neglected app., while defunct Lucky persists.

Lucky for Life game ended 2/21/26 yet it still shows in the app. The new game Millionaire for Life is daily but results are not available in the app. Other states’ let you see how much you won in a scratch ticket but this one just says “ you may be a winner.” Colorado Lottery needs more options. So many people play as most
Of the tickets are sold out at my king Soopers. How about daily 2,3,4,5 and 6-digit drawings like other states? And why does the Colorado Lotto reset to such a small amount after it’s won? Please offer more, it’s been the same ole same ole since it started.

Not updated
I’m beginning to doubt the validity of this app. First, it has not been updated to show millionaire for life drawings with the same jackpot draw features for number checking as power ball , mega millions, etc., in fact lucky for life is still showing in the app. If it hasn’t been updated for that, how can I trust the scanner feature for this tickets? Additionally, it claims to show how many large jackpot scratch prizes remain for each scratch game. However neither on the app nor website is it listed how they determine this information-is it by tracking winning tickets by purchase or claims?(This seems possibly deceptive advertising and perhaps illegal?) I do like the jackpot scanning feature. Unlike other reviews, I’ve never had an inaccurate scan as far as it being a winner or non winner. I do however echo other reviewers and wish it could tell you how much a scratch off ticket or jackpot drawing ticket won. If the machines in gas stations can do it, no reason for the app not to be able to. (I do like that you can check your favorite numbers for each jack pot drawing and that will tell you how much you’ve won-and I like that you can save your favorite numbers as well).

App Issues
You would think in this day and age the app would tell you how much you won. Other states do doesn’t surprise me that Colorado doesn’t guaranteed it was a democrat that’s running tech support and probably developed it ha ha. It scanned two tickets of mine and said they were winners and they weren’t. I see so many bad reviews and yet nothing is done about it. They can throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at all these different trails but they can’t put $50,000 into a couple app updates and design. It’s pathetic.

Scanner Issues
I am rarely able to scan a ticket without getting an error that says the ticket was scanned but unable to verify its status and to try again later. I have tried cleaning the lens, changing resolution, making sure the barcode is perfectly clean and good lighting with no success. My husband can scan the same ticket and has no issues. This needs fixed. Or the ability to enter the numbers. Additionally, it would be nice to know exactly what was won when the scanner actually works.

It just plain doesn’t work, and apparently that’s been true for a WHILE
It won’t scan at all. Completely useless. Developer has been “looking into it” for a very long time.

I have used this app for a while but recently the scan function stopped working for powerball tickets.

Why do developers always mess up apps when they are working just fine??? This app used to work and now you can’t scan tickets. It’s really frustrating, especially after how much money you guys make off of us and you can’t even have a working app. Do better Colorado lottery!!

I updated my I-Phone to the latest update and now the scanner has stopped working. I reloaded the app and again allowed the use of my camera. Still not working.

I have had this app for about two weeks now and I have not been able to scan any tickets on it. Very disappointing.
Worthless app that doesn’t scan tickets
This app forces you to create an account with your personal info in order to scan lotto tickets. After account creation, it still doesn’t scan the tickets or offer results and returns a message saying you might be a winner. Completely worthless
