The Jackpocket Lottery App allows users to order official state lottery tickets for games like Powerball and Mega Millions directly from their smartphones. It provides a secure and convenient way to participate in lottery drawings, track jackpots, and manage winnings.
After you place your ticket order through the app, the Jackpocket team purchases your official lottery tickets from a licensed retailer in your state. A scan of your ticket is then sent to the app, and you receive a confirmation email with the ticket serial number. Your paper ticket is securely stored.
Smaller lottery prizes (typically under $600) are automatically deposited into your Jackpocket account, which you can use to order more tickets or withdraw. For larger prizes, Jackpocket will transfer your paper ticket to you so you can claim your prize directly from the state lottery. Many states offer mail-in options for claiming larger prizes.
The app itself is free to download and use for ordering lottery tickets. The cost is for the official lottery tickets you purchase through the service. There may be additional perks or credits offered through promotions or loyalty programs.
Jackpocket is available in a growing number of states, including AZ, AR, CO, DC, ID, ME, MA, MN, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PR, and WV. Eligibility requirements, such as age and location, apply and vary by state.
