Chaque fois que je vais dans un communauto c souvent sale il faudrait mettre un système mais le pire truc les gens sont sales il devrait avoir honte de donner sa au gens

Worst customer service
They’re the worst when it comes to customer service. They never help.
Bad service
Very disappointing customer service experience with Communauto. The staffs attitude were unhelpful, and my concerns were handled very carelessly. They did not want to solve my problems. I felt like they were just trying to dismiss the issue instead of actually helping solve it.
Horrible.
Every time there is an issue with boarding or leaving. App is terrible.
Great idea but so many things wrong
The idea is great. Execution and support are decidedly not. Hardly anything is being fixed. Seems like they ignore all reviews and mails that criticize.
- sometimes it books or blocks cars many kilometers away when clearly that was not chosen. Same with time of reservation. No safeguard. Eg I booked for a certain day and ot booked me for a full twenty four hours or so.
-buggy- suddenly it said me I am not in my city.
-hangs too much
-flex car times out and I lose my block before the 30 mins
-AUTO CHARGED more than it should have (more than once)Eg charged full day when I took it for a few hours only
-related to above customer service is terrible!!takes too long usually and some of the agents speak Luke you are an idiot and it’s automatically the customer’s fault. Whenever it comes to fees even if it’s Communauto’s fault they assume the customer is an idiot and at fault and they have no idea how to communicate with other humans. Then I am told that a certain tune is written in the terms when clearly I could see it is not. What a gross human being. Disgusting.
-get mails that I left car unclean when I have not- ever. I even found a friggin injection needle in there!
-got ticketed for something I did not do. Wasn’t even driving at the time or near that vehicle at the time. I don’t bother because of the time and effort.
There are things to fix and I could keep going. The service is altogether great but app and customer service need work. I echo everything everyone is saying in terms of complaints. Enough is enough. Whomever is managing those two portfolios need to step up in major ways.

Recently when booked a car nearby, it jumped to another car far away
It happens so frequently that it’s so frustrating when a car is needed in emergency.
App needs a entirely new makeover
As many of reviews state the services offered are good but the app is trash. Not only the navigation through the app and all the glitches but the colour too. Such an ugly chartreuse green make it something nice and vibrant. Sheesh.
No choice of cars
Service quite smooth and ok. I’m disappointed that it doesn’t provide me with an option to choose which car given the period and the carpark, while I’m sure that there are like 4 cars there which have not been reserved. It just assigns whatever it wants to, randomly.

The app is good but there are a few things that could be improved. Especially about pricing. They dont tell you beforehand that they will charge you extra fees, exemple for cancellation or modification of booking time. It would also be great if the stations were more “spaced?” because at some places there are MANY stations and others where there is only one. I understand that it is based on user usage but just having one station for a sector is really not enough because then if we live too far away, it can be bothersome. Also having more agents on the phone would be great to not have to wait in the cold for more than 15 min :). Anyways thats just a few things

Priceline
the price you pay for a day at commune auto, you can rent for a week with Priceline. Commune auto charges me 700 dollars in just fees for admin. Corrupt company, go with Priceline. The cars stink, dirty and will leave marks on your clothing. Also terrible customer service
There is barely any real customer service, users are not a priority for this company.
I feel so disappointed with their customer services. They will never be on your side. Their reporting system is a mystery, you will never get a copy of your reports.
Some cars are in bad shape and/or unclean.
Be sure to report everything you notice on every car. Don’t rely on their obsolete report documentation on the globe compartment, nobody tracks that, save yourself from giving unexpected donations to communauto.

More functionality and stability
When it works it’s ok however sometimes cars that are blocked are not there at all!or a car is stuck (Eg can’t get out because of nice) but no one informs you before you get there. Or you can’t block the car properly among other things. Also need a communication if car will be late (it’s happened that I was late but it took 45 mins to get through to customer service). Anyhow there are glitches and more improvements need for the app and the service in general. And if there is a billing problem it seems to never be Communauto’s fault. Ever. I also got two tickets in places where I was definitely legally parked! Go fight that in court when you don’t even k ow what ticket is being referred to!!

This car company is a complete fraud, completely unprofessional & if you’re in an accident will deny you access to care immediately!
Need more stations
Not enough stations in Halifax area. Most people live in Bedford , Sackville, Clayton park, but stations are only in Downtown and Dartmouth. Can you add more stations near shopping centers and business centres where people work in suburbs???

Leur service client est catastrophique, ils vous facturent des déplacements alors que vous avez un laissez-passer de 30min.
J’ai dépensé 3000$ dans leur service en 2025 et je dois me battre pour ne pas être facturé de 6$ sur un trajet.
Très clairement, ils jouent de leur position de monopole, et s’en fichent totalement du client.

What needs to happen to make this work?
I use communauto a lot because the service itself is quite good and convenient when it works, but there’s so many things that can get in the way of it working. TWICE yesterday I walked 10 minutes to get a flex car only to find the car wasn’t there at all. The idea of this service is really wonderful and I recommend it to people all the time, but for some reason it seems the app itself is constantly an issue.

For station based cars with multiple cars, give users option to select preferred car. This app feels like it was made in 2001 and never updated since
