Biased restoration
144,000 people without power, our street like many others. Consumers was in the area for two days and fixed everything around us, simply because one end of our road does not connect to another. We are happy to wait our reasonable turn but don’t fix everyone else and leave like we don’t matter.
Easy to navigate
I can pretty much do everything I need online now. I can pay my bill and submit an outage asap. Many things you can do.
Highway robbery
A company that has monopoly on power in the area gets to jack up the prices on regular people after raking in record profits. Can't stand consumers. Glad their workers at least make a good living

Consumers Energy is awful. What is a “planned power outage” ? These happen all the time. Sounds like a scam to me. So that they save money.

The electric prices are outrageous. People should pack up and leave rather than pay these prices.
Inaccurate updates
We understand power outages occur and you have to be patient. We have followed the app and used it to report, monitor. However, our status says restored. We have used the app and the automated text messages to communicate. However, we are stuck in a loop where the outage is cancelled and we get a message that our address is not affected. There is no way to communicate other than this review???

Wow I actually Works
I don’t know why I’m so amazed that the app actually works smoothly and makes sense even gives me an option to pay somebody else’s bill. Thank you for everything that you do.
App is not Accurate
This app does not give you accurate information for a power outage. One min it tells you crews are making repairs then it tells you the outage is being assessed. It tells you the power will be restored at by a certain time, then that time comes and goes with no power. This app/information is not to be trusted!

I have an 800 sq ft house and my monthly bill was over 1,200 dollars how is that even possible.
Your end doesn’t save
Because Consumers can’t save biometric photos I have to go through having to be an email every time I want to log; which is at least once a month
