Absolute Garbage
This app constantly logs me out, constantly forgets my password, and constantly forces me to change my password. Otherwise, while I am not spending 15 minutes resetting my account every single time I use it, it does allow me to control my spa remotely. I hate this, it is garbage.
Works when it wants to
This product works sometimes, when it does I would give it a 3.7 but not today. No control of the spa tried 5 times. Why canât it work as well as your furnace app
Ok, not great
With recent update temp shows in Celsius even though tub set to show Fahrenheit. Tried multiple resets to fix on both tub and phone. No change.
More frustrating is the number of times you get offline status. I installed an Alexa switch to reboot the relay but that only helps sometimes. Hard to reset the tub remotely. Better than nothing but not worthy of more than 3 stars

off line more then connected
app is constantly off like. it is impossible to maintain a gateway connection for more then a few days or a week. This Makes the app worthless when your off premises and need to check on your spa for important status update, temperature checks and filter cycle changes. Hard to imagine how BalBoa can not get this right. Would be really nice to see more extensive functions like history graphs of key functions tempature, filter times, etc. similar to Pentair for pools

Needs more server
The app takes forever to load information. It appears the server is overloaded, or the API is just âthat bad.â I would suggest hiring some competent client/server engineers to build a functioning product.

Been using CMS for 3 years, and I am impressed with the latest improvements. The functions seem to work faster. Thanks for continuing to make it better for us

Takes 5 minutes to load if it even works, total waste of money.
Works when the server is up
There are too many times that the server has issues and I canât get the system to accept an update I make. I have confirmed with other users that they experience the same issues when I am experiencing mine. Iâm not sure what their issue is.
Terrible App
This app is terrible, it does not connect the Spa feature to my phone. I can connect the Bluetooth speakers but I canât set up the app because it says itâs undetectable
Always says updating
When I tap my phoneâs screen to adjust my hot tub, it always says something about software updating, then takes about 20 or 30 seconds to respond to the hot tub. Itâs been updating for a week!
Amazing
So happy with this product!! Our topside panel packed it in and was super pricey to replace!! We added this in and now control the hot tub from our phones!!! A fraction of the price and way more convenient!!!
Useless software
Constantly disconnects, I had to add a remote plug to turn it on and off every time to use it, the programming is unclear how you preemptively get to correct temperature, the events log just disappeared on latest update, I could go on and on. It sucks big time.
Schedule and connection problems
The schedules I set donât seem to work. Also seems to be âofflineâ a lot of the time and I donât know why.

Terrible and broken
This app has so many issues but whats the one fundamental thing youâd expect it to be able to do: change your spa temperature. It cant even do that.
If you try to select the temperature, it just defaults to 106. Iâve found that I can set at 80 but anything other than 80 goes to 106. The app is totally broken.
