they need to recognize that many people using transit are international. requires a phone number to validate your account but no way to validate through whatsapp, rendering it entirely useless.

Don’t work
Im trying to put my phone # from USA . They don’t let me use the app. This is bad sometimes the machine at the airport don’t work to buy tickets and the think is you have to pay to the conductor of the bus $7 euros.. Sad.

Not usable for non locals
App is very hard to use for non Italians. We were traveling a remote area of Italy and no selling shops were nearby. We were not Able to use the tickets we purchased because of lack of usability.
Well not suited for international travel
Apps are especially nice abroad as it makes buying tickets much easier than on (in this case even broken) machines. So not this one. Registration doesn’t work with Google and Apple account and for registration with e-mail an Italian phone number is needed.

Booked the ticket online to save some monies but it was a ride in the maze to get the tickets. When we reached the but stop, bus was running delayed and there was no point of contact. Ticket that they provided needs to be scanned at the bus and I scanned them at the wrong service which made them unusable. Why in the hell would you let me activate my tickets on the wrong service from a different company?
Giving 2 starts for the cheaper ticket that they provide in the middle of the night.

Utterly Useless
I, and looking online, many users cannot enter their phone number in the registration screen. It rejects all known international standards of entering a valid phone number and will not allow you to proceed to register for purchasing bus tickets.

I tried many formats of the telephone number but none was considered as valid, could not register, could not use the app

Waste of my time. It won’t work with foreign numbers. What a shame because I really needed this service to buy bus tickets.

If you are a foreigner, you can't register to use the app. It always complains about your wrong phone number. You guys should do better!
The worst app in the world
This is the worst app I have ever seen. We have spent two hours trying to create an account. App was constantly crashing, connection with FB or google did not work because "the browser is too old" then the app wasn't accepting my phone number in any possible format I tried. We missed 4 buses and still weren't able to buy tickets. Furthermore there wasn't any place on the airport to buy the tickets from. Tried the Cotral website but that was even worse. Even the driver couldn't sell us the tickets. First experience in Italy after arriving and it couldn't be worse! 😡👎

Utile ma errata
Quest’app é molto utile per cercare i Cotral in zona, la uso molte volte per raggiungere vari punti. Oggi, e non é la prima volta, mi ha segnalato che l’autobus nella mia destinazione aveva quel codice, per esempio 4100, io sono salita sul bus con quel numero per poi scoprire, grazie a una mia amica, che portava da tutt’altra parte e neanche a dire che dove abito sia molto bene collegata con le altre città quindi dovevo per forza chiamare un amico o un parente a venirmi a prendere.
Poi un’altra problematica é che quando cerco un bus da posizione attuale o qualsiasi altro luogo a luogo x
Il mio luogo o luogo che devo arrivare non mi risulta tra le fermate nonostante ci sia un cartello in quel luogo con su scritto “fermata bus Cotral” oppure cerco un autobus che mi porti per esempio a Monterotondo e io parto da Mentana, questo bus lo devo prendere sabato e io lo cerco venerdì, quando ho scritto i dati e devo mettere “orario di partenza”/“filtra” lo schermo si oscura come se stesse caricando ma questo caricamento non finisce più!
Quindi spero che questi errori non capitano più, grazie per l’attenzione
