Migraine-Inducing
This app would be great—IF it ever worked!! The design is good and would be helpful, but the functionality of the app itself SUCKS. It never loads without having to close and reopen/login multiple times, and it doesn’t save the data of any migraine event without several attempts. The error messages are random and rampant when using the app. For something that should be used for tracking migraines, it more successfully CAUSES them.

Surprisingly bad UI
I don’t usually write reviews but I just started using the Cove app as my telehealth provider and the app UI is really bad. It’s surprisingly bad given that this is the only way you’ll ever interact with your provider, it’s not like it’s a supplemental service for in-person visits. It doesn’t auto-log you out when you exit the app, it gives an error message every time I reopen it telling me “user does not exist” or some such thing. The easiest way around this is to manually restart it, which is just very poor and weird design. There’s no biometric or passkey login option (common for health portals) and it doesn’t save your credentials. You have to re-enter your email address every time you log in (again, after doing the restart thing to even get to the login screen at all). It’s weird and inconvenient for an app which ostensibly can be used as a migraine tracker. There’s also no support accessible via the app and they don’t show you your rx shipping or billing info. I actually have no information on tracking for my new rx at all. I called customer support and they said it should be sending by email soon but there’s no way to see my next ship date or skip a shipment from within the app, or on the website for that matter. This is off-putting and has scam vibes, I would immediately change this. I’ve already given them 150$ and while I get that it takes a bit to process, have not received any “your order is on the way” type notification to confirm that my consultation actually went anywhere. I receive my birth control through one of their sister companies, Nurx, which has none of these odd UI issues and tracks your RX shipment directly in the app. Just clone that app lol, it’s far better.
My experience with getting migraine treatment has been fine, just a much worse virtual experience than expected

It could be something very good, but it’s not
As someone wrote a review 3 years ago, the concept is good but the reality is flaw.
When you have a migraine crisis, you need a fast treatment and this definitely not what Cove has to offer.
In their website says that they offer support 24/7, but don’t think this means fast response. It only means that you can send a message to the doctor anytime. But the reality they don’t specify (at least I couldn’t find it online) is that doctors reply within 48-72h. Well, be aware that’s not always accurate. As of now, I’ve been waiting for an answer from my provider since Monday (today is Friday), so way more than 48 or 72 hours.
I might be wrong on this, but I think that Cove doctors don’t work exclusively at Cove, so that’s probably why it takes too long.

Too many problems
I’m having way too many problems on the app and getting the prescription. I’ve been going back-and-forth with the provider for over a week. While I understand prior authorizations are required for a lot of migraine medication. This would’ve been way. Simpler to take care of phone call instead of a message waiting for a reply that takes 24 hours in between each one. This has been a very lengthy process. I’ve been doing this for over a week and still do not have a prescription. Every time I open the app and write a message back it tells me it’s null object void after I typed the message out and then I have to re-log back in every time. recommend seeing a local provider or someone with telehealth versus someone that only communicates through chatting. they’ve already received their money from my insurance company so there’s no incentive for them to reach back out quickly. If I’ve already had migraine medication and was just looking for a company to refill or not needing something urgently, this may be a good product. I thought I would be able to get the medication before my current insurance lapsed so I use this instead of seeing a local doctor when in hindsight a local doctor would’ve been way better.

The “Cove Care” extra charge is a scam.
I used their service because the medication was cheaper than I was able to get. The biggest scam this company does though, is their “Cove Care” extra charge. They charge an extra $10 a month (charged quarterly when your medication shipped) so you’re charged an extra $30 along with your medication on a separate charge. This service is nothing but an extra money grab. The service includes “Unlimited messaging to your provider/regular check ins with your provider and access to a migraine tracker.” I’ve don’t need unlimited access to my provider for migraines. I’ve never had to speak to anyone other than when a prescription had to be renewed. And the migraine tracker…I guarantee over 90% of the users have never used that thing. It does exactly what a pen and paper or typing it in your notepad does. It’s just something to throw on to make it look like you’re getting some extra perk. The “Cove Care” charge is an absolute scam and they know it.

Terrible Customer service
It sounds like a great way to not physically go to a doctors office for medication but in reality you probably should just go to your physician. These doctors take weeks to answer questions then if you have a problem with your account good luck speaking to anyone that has an intelligence. They will fight you tooth and nail to make sure they keep their fees (that they fail to inform you about) even when they are wrong. JUST GO TO A REGULAR DOCTOR! You’ll be better off in the long run.

App is glitchy/Service is great for me
Login part of app is very glitchy jumps around when trying to login, does not save login information or password. And if you try to open app after a day or so it will state no login information found so you have to close it out and go back in. All of this is minor, unless you’re using the migraine tracker and have a migraine, a lot of times I don’t want to bother with it and just have to remember to go back in to log when I’m feeling better.
As far as Cove goes, I’ve been with them for a year now and so much happier with their service and migraine treatment plan then I was getting with my PCP. Through their pharmacies I’m better able to have the meds on need on hand (they give me a 4 month supply) instead of using Walgreens where they’d give me 3-5 of my migraine pills at a time which I could go through very quickly.

The doctors are 5 stars, the app is 3 stars
I love the care i have received from the doctors here on cove.
They have answered all my questions, provided options that a much more expensive neurologist did not even mention, and being able to message them is so easy and fast and helpful.
The app itself has good features, but it crashes whenever I open it and doesn’t register that i am logged in. Its so annoying but the service is so good that I will continue to put up with it. I recommend it, even if you have no insurance, this and pharmacy coupons can get you the migraine care you need.

The service is great, rating is for the app
The app has good features but every single time I open it it gives me the error “there is no user with such credentials. Please check your data”. Not only is this an unclear error message, but despite having some authentication issue it still shows me my personal info, which is troubling to say the least. Instead of fully signing me out it shows this message and prevents me from seeing the doctor’s messages EVERY TIME I use the app. Fix this issue and have better authentication, it’s broken and is ruining user experience!

Cove is a great service but there’s technical problems
I constantly have to delete and re-sign in to this app because “there are no user credentials, please try again”. Similar errors when I update my personal information on the website.
The service itself is great. I actually have medication that works well for me and it’s never late.

App, awful. Cove service, great so far.
This is a review of the app itself. I downloaded the app to be notified when a doctor responded after my initial consultation. After one day, the app began to say “no user with such credentials. Please check your data.” I tried to logout. I couldn’t. I deleted the app and installed it again. Later that day, I received an email that I had a message from my provider but the app didn’t notify me although I have notifications turned on. And the error message has returned.

Frustrated
I was trying to track my migraines so my neurologist and I could narrow down which type I have. I managed to log in a couple of them before it just signed me out and wouldn’t let me do anything. Super annoying.
SCAM
Do not download this app if you are desperate need for migraine relief. I have now waited over a week for a consultation after they took my credit card information and personal health insurance. Customer service refuses to delete my information.
Confusing
I like the concept, but the execution fails miserably. The app provides no access to FAQ’s on what to expect, how to cancel, etc. the service overall was not useful or personalized - jumped through all the hoops to get a med I already knew doesn’t work for me. Billing was never explained to me at any point in the process. I still have no idea if this is like a monthly subscription, if my insurance has been being billed? Fee or service kind of setup? If ya’ll are gonna have an app - include access to ALL info on the app - even if it just links to the website. I shouldn’t have to google how this works or how to cancel it.

DO NOT USE COVE
I did a consultation 2 weeks ago and still have not received any medication!!! They make it seem like someone will reply to you within 48 hours (LIE) and then all you have to do is approve and have your medication shipped. It took me 1 week to get a message from the provider. I called to have it transferred to my local pharmacy instead and they replied “There isn’t a pharmacist available now, we’ll call your pharmacy back when there is” and then 30 minutes later I got an email that my order has shipped. WHY WOULD YOU SHIP IT NOW WHEN I WANTED TO PICK IT UP FROM THE PHARMACY. Now I have to go 3/4 more days without medication making it almost 3 weeks. I could’ve went in person if I knew it would’ve been this difficult but I’ve spent $90 dollars on medication and “covecare” This website was horrible and I definitely will not be using it again.

They just want their $$
The doctor I was issued never responds earlier than 48-72h. The support is useless. The provider is NOT available 24/7. My provider asked personal questions about my gynecological issues and IVF treatments, which was crossing the line for me because this doctor is an ER doctor and has no training in this, and it has nothing to do with sumatriptan rx. They, however, are very quick to have you fill out the $30 “checkups”, but even if you say meds don’t work- they’ll charge and keep sending you the medication. It’s just as long as they get paid, they don’t care about you as a patient.

I want to like this app..
I was very optimistic about this app when I was doing my research but the gist of it is they failed to deliver. During the application process, the app asked me for my heart beat and blood pressure, which I didn't have at the the time so I had to save for later. I came back to it the next day and it just skipped it, oh well? Anyways I was able to finish the application and was assigned to a physician, who basically asked the same questions during the application. Ok then? To make it even more annoying is that after I replied to her, she's apparently on vacation. I wasn't even transferred to a different physician, and It's been more than a week now since my transaction to get a migraine medication and boy it's going at a glacial pace.

App not good
Cannot delete migraine incidents added in error. Also wants an end time to migraine. I don’t know why they expect this, as who notices exactly when the pain stops, especially when taking medicine while working or going to sleep after taking medicine.
Good idea, but…
The concept sounds great but waiting 3+ days now for a doctor to contact me back is not good. Customer service is non existent. Took my fees and nothing….
Great concept, needs lots of improvement.
The whole concept is great but the actual process needs lots of improvement.
It’s nice that you can get treatment for migraines without an in person appointment. The neurologist was great.
My issue is that the whole program wasn’t clearly explained anywhere. I went into the consultation with very little information. After the consultation, I had to reach out to customer service because no one explained what the next step was. Which I got explanation from but then nothing happened. I did the consultation and agreed on a treatment plan but no prescription or treatment plan was sent. After reaching out yet again, the treatment plan was finally submitted and the prescriptions sent. I got the prescriptions relatively quick. But another problem I ran into is that there’s a missing supplement which I paid for. These supplements are pretty pricey. Now I’m at it again with customer service to see where the missing item is. Of course it says the package was delivered, but the one item is missing and not in the package. Out of three items ordered, only two were delivered. Overall, it’s a great concept, but really disappointed in the process. It hasn’t been as smooth as I’d expect.
