Worst App I’ve Ever Used
Where to even start? There is nothing of value with this app. Don’t even bother.
Violation of privacy
App requires precise location permissions. They provide no explanation. Why? If you don’t approve, none of the WiFi functions work.

Annoying
Most annoying app, ever. Takes way too long to log in. Everytime. Surprising how much this matters, until you have to deal with it on a regular basis. Filter starts up for no reason in the middle of the night… Logins, password. Apartment gets smoky because I’m making a steak and the filter doesn’t start in its own… logins and passwords. It’s 4 screens of them - Loading. Login button. Password screen. Loading again. Slow, slow slow. Frustrating.

Sped WAY up!!!
They fixed it! It’s awesome now. I’m so impressed 💜 I can actually turn on the air purifier almost immediately when my dog farts now 😂😂😂
Great product, awful app.
The Coway air purifier is very good. Is good enough to make up for the awful app experience? I’m not so sure.

Using this app is a chore
I am going out of my way to write this review, which I normally don’t do, even for bad apps. This app is such a chore to use. You have to sign into it EVERY TIME. Even after optimizing my login procedure, it takes over 45 seconds to go from login to controlling my device. And on top of this, it’s now reminding me to cycle my password on login. What a useless app!

App and web have been down for months, no communication from Coway to say why. No way to control my purifier. Ridiculous
Terrible App
Requires sign-in for every use and does not remember WiFi settings. I have two airmega 400s devices that constantly drop off our network. The reconnect process has to be started from scratch each time and doesn’t work consistently. Multiple tries are usually required. Terrible user experience.
Doesn’t work
App is horrible. It sends notifications that are false, tries to change your settings, and there is zero customer support-just an FAQ. Worse than the 1st App
Won’t accept the barcode
I can’t register it. The app is not able to detect the device. It also doesn’t accept the barcode. Not off to a good start

Terrible Connectivty
If you want a smart device do not buy Coway! Can't connect to WiFi if WiFi password contains special characters. Can't use smart features or app! Wirecutter foolishly recommends this device!
Terrible app
This is the first app review I’ve ever written and I’m going my out of my way to do it because this is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Their previous app was also bad and apparently they spent a lot of time replacing with one that’s even worse. You have to sign into the app every time you open it. Why doesn’t any other app I have work that way? It also doesn’t seem to be aware of the state of the machine when it sends notifications because it’s always sending me incorrect notifications about the state of the machine. I love Coway air purifiers, but this app will make me think twice before buying another one.

App makes the air purifier worthless. Wish I never bought
This is the only device in my house that attempts to make me sign in before I can turn it on. The device itself is great but the app makes the purchase one of my poorest decisions
Super slow, massively inconvenient.
Woof. Every time I actually need to use this app it takes a lifetime to open. First an update inside the app itself, then oops your login is timed out, you need to login again. Oh, and also, time to change your password again. So 2 minutes later I can finally change the speed on my fan up one notch. If I could give this app a 0 I would.
