Don’t bother if you are plus-size.

They don’t even show plus sizes on their size options. Nor do they actually offer good prices for repurchase in my experience. They offered 138 dollars for shoes that cost me $1200.

Cannot believe how fast I am earning credit.

Sold some stuff, shopped at Nordstrom, a few brands directly, etc. and I already have hundreds of dollars of spendable credit.

Literally a no-brainer.

Very confusing to set up. Privacy concerns

The UX to get started really needs some help. It’s very convoluted and confusing to get set up. They want you to give them full access to your Gmail so they can see what you bought. You’re just giving them all your data for free. If you don’t do that you have to turn on a safari extension. But even doing that I never figured out how to buy items in. Needs some work.

Good Service in Theory

The idea is good in theory but in practice it’s not there yet. Unless your items are in mint condition they get rejected. So much as a loose thread can get items rejected. The only items they’ve accepted of mine are items one once. Their standards are much stricter than that of a Real Real or consignment store which is good on one hand but not great for a seller.

This app is so difficult to use. It is difficult to get the actual gift card once you sell something. Additionally, it’s concerning that it directly has access to your email account. Does not seem safe nor is it user friendly. You’re better off selling on depop.

Won’t change rating till things change

I did not get the full amount of the sale. Which is fine because I’m assuming I’ll get the unapproved clothes back but on your app I cannot see past sales to see which items were approved nor does it say in that email that I am getting any type of unapproved clothes back at this point it just seems like my clothes were just taken from me and I can’t even see what I need to get back because there’s no tab to see what I’ve sent over. It’s actually horrible especially that I spent hundreds of dolllars on these items and can’t even see what I’ve sent over and which items were approved.

SCAM DO NOT USE! My dress was in perfect condition and they ripped a hole and said it did not meet their standards. I never even wore the dress. Extremely disappointed with this app.

Annoying browser extension

Overall, I like the premise of Croissant. My two complaints are:

1. They don’t tell you where your clothes go after you sell them back. It would be so cool to have the ability to shop what other people have returned.

2. The browser extension is SO annoying. If it was less invasive it would be okay, but every time I collapse it then click to a new page, it opens back up which makes me want to delete it.

Bonus feedback: Please make it so you can redeem your gift cards without the browser extension. Or make the extension less annoying, please.

While Croissant currently partners with resale marketplaces to list those items, we know how fun (and sustainable!) it would be to shop directly through us. It’s definitely something we’re exploring for the future. As for the browser extension — you’re right, it can feel intrusive. We’ve heard this from a few users and are actively working on updates to make it less repetitive and more seamless. We also understand wanting to redeem gift cards without the extension. At the moment, the extension is how Croissant tracks redemptions, which helps us keep the service free by earning a small commission from merchants. Bugs

Concept is great but I downloaded the app and the load screen isn’t consistent and it won’t let me click multiple items to sell. Seems like a lot of bugs happening which is frustrating.

Unfortunately

Hi all, I opted out of the app, it required too many of my accounts. I felt not safe, first I signed in as yahoo, then they required Gmail, then they wanted safari and safari must be tracking my phone at ALL TIMES no other option given. Sorry. RED FLAG FOR ME. too bad the concept is what I was looking for to get rid of stuff. But no thanks.

Love this app!

The Croissant app is super easy to use to get rid of clothes. If you shop designer a lot, the Safari extension allows you to see the resale value before buying which is great! Highly recommend.

Top choice for reselling clothes

Croissant made it so easy to sell my clothes…I literally just dropped them off at UPS. I chose store credit payment (which arrived so fast) and used my gift card on a new dress at Revolve. The Croissant extension also reminded me I had a gift card when I went to the website so I could easily apply it at checkout! 100% recommend trying this

Great app!

I love using this app and being able to make some money off of used clothes. It’s very organized and super user-friendly. I recommend doing the Gmail sync because it makes it easier.

Very Easy to Use
