Free game for a subscription?

I understand that developer of such a great game wants money, and I support that thing. But subscription? Maybe just add a little bit of advertising in game? I can’t purchase a subscription. I’m sadly disappointed

It is no longer free

We now need a subscription to play it... a subscription that is strictly useless if it's the only crunchyroll game you're interested in... GIVE US BACK THIS FREE GAME 😩🤞🏽

Crunchyroll is a capitalist oppressor and I want my game back

Used to be a wonderful, free independent game. Tried to re-download only to discover Crunchyroll has bought this game and hidden it behind a pay wall. Frankly, it’s just disgusting. What does Kawaii Kitchen even have to do with them? Why can’t they just leave small creators alone?
