Locked out of funds
I used to consider Crypto.com one of the fastest and most reliable crypto apps I had used for years â until this recent issue.
My withdrawals stopped working, so I contacted support to clarify what happened. After that, my account was locked. The email said it was locked upon my request, but I never requested that.
For around 10 days, I have had no normal access to my account or funds. I have spent over 10 hours with support, completed verification multiple times, reinstalled the app, updated the OS, tried multiple devices, and provided screen recordings.
Support keeps sending me in circles with âtry againâ and âsend another videoâ instead of restoring access or giving a clear explanation.
They told me only I can withdraw my balance to my own account â but I cannot do that because they still have not restored access. I also asked for a formal account closure / offboarding process if they cannot restore access, but that request has not been addressed.
What makes this even more concerning is that another person I personally recommended Crypto.com to reported a very similar issue: their account was also locked with an email saying it was done by request, although they say they did not request it either.
This is extremely concerning for a financial service. Users should not be locked out of their funds for days, repeatedly verified, and still left without a practical resolution.

Terrible. I cant gain access to the acct, left the chat open for hours waiting for some type of access or to be able to update my info. I go back and its closed for inactivity. But i was waiting on you idiotsâŚ.at this point keep the money since i cant withdrawal or access it. Pure garbage.

Needs a lot of improvement
They should really get candle stick charts or at least the option to have them and some indicators like MA, RSI, MACD. Not only that but itâs pretty expensive with the fees. I bought all my crypto on here when I first started and I just havenât sold it but when I do Iâll be moving it elsewhere. I donât feel like paying the transfer fee and losing all my average cost information though so here is where it will sit until then. All the new crypto I buy, I do it elsewhere. Pretty low on the totem pole as far as crypto apps go.

My account have been locked for a month now I keep texting the customer care they sent me a link in my mail to verify my identity twice and I was ask to login to verify my details but still it says account is locked and I went back to the customer care they sent me another link in the chat to verify my details I am suppose to receive two codes one from email and the other on my phone but the one I am suppose to receive on my phone never came in for more than 3 weeks the same thing I will only get code in my mail and I wonât get the one sent to my phone

Actual Review
This site/app has a lot of hidden fees etc. I think unless they changed it the minimum to pull out in cash is $100. There are plenty of crypto carriers that are less predatory. I just pulled out nearly $2000 and lost nearly $150 in doing so (JUST SWAPPING FROM BTC TO USD) i was randomly banned from coinbase but that is what i would suggest- i feel robbed here but its the only site i can use.
