Cuenta: Split the Bill

Restaurant bill math shouldn’t follow you home. Cuenta turns one receipt into a shared bill everyone can understand. The person who paid scans or imports the receipt. Cuenta itemizes it and flags receipt differences for review. The organizer sends one link, and everyone opens the same bill and taps what they had. People who are invited can join from the web without installing the app or creating an account. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan a paper receipt or choose a receipt photo • Review extracted items and totals, and correct flagged differences before payment • Send one bill link to the group • Tap an item to take it, or share an item with other people • See your items, tax, tip, and total in one breakdown • Watch the shared bill update as people make changes • Open Venmo with the recipient, amount, and note filled in when the person who paid has added a Venmo username • Mark your share as paid after you pay • Reopen recent bills on your device BUILT FOR THE PERSON WHO PAID AND EVERYONE THEY INVITE The organizer sees any flagged receipt difference before claiming or payment is allowed. Everyone else gets a short path from link to share. No permanent guest account is required. PAYMENT, CLEARLY STATED Cuenta does not hold, send, receive, verify, or confirm money. If you choose the Venmo handoff, you review and send the payment in Venmo. Marking a share as paid records the participant’s status in Cuenta; it is not confirmation from a bank or payment service. Currently designed for English-language restaurant receipts, US dollars, and Venmo handoff in the United States.
