If you don’t pay in advance and just hail a taxi, prepare to pay 25-50% more for your rate especially if coming from an airport. Will never use again and will stick with other ride share apps as they don’t overcharge. Use the competition as they are up front with rates regardless of how it’s booked. I will never use Curb again and will be filing a formal complaint.

Poor UX
I wonder if the developers of this app actually use the app? After setting up an acct, loading my (US) credit card in as default, setting my home (US) address - I tried to use it for first time:
- first it selected wrong address using GPS as opposed to my home address where I was - it was a couple hundred meters off.
- it was defaulting to my Apple Pay (which is my Brazilian credit card which I never use when in U.S.) even though I had just set my U.S. card as payment method.
In summary dumb and dumber and not worth the minute or two of my wasted time so I’ll just stick to Uber.

I waited for 20+ minutes for my driver to lie and never show up. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will not be using this app again

Scammed During Jay Z Weekend
They charged my card even though the driver never came. As of today I still have pending charges from them. The concert was LAST WEEK! I submitted a ticket and no one ever responded. Release my funds.
Dishonest business
They do not forward tips to the drivers and instead pocket the money. Ask any Driver.
Waste of time
I waited for 10min at the airport and the driver didn’t not even moved at all. Then I called another one, the other drivers just went away, which wasted me another 10 minutes and forced me cancelled all those trips. Discussing!

Ridiculous policy
The estimates are completely fabricated. It will estimate 2 minutes then once you look for a driver it says 30 minutes. When I cancel I am charged $4 when the driver hasn’t even pinched towards me. Their policy is that you will be charged a fee if it takes you more than 30 seconds to cancel you get charged. I’ve cancelled immediately and still been charged.
Update- they are now trying to back track and claim that if you cancel immediately you won’t get charged. That ridiculous and untrue. I cancel immediately, which is once I see the ACCURATE time estimate. They claim I cancelled after 30 seconds which is impossible to prove as there’s no screen timer. Don’t waste your time just use legitimate apps that value customer service and experience.
