App Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing every time when I tap on the feeding icon. The app registers the command but does not respond and would just crash. Only way to get back into it would be to force close and relaunch the app. Please fix and update the app.

It would be nice if this was updated. Especially before I bought everything I might have gone a different route since it’s been 2yrs since this is updated. Also their website for help doesn’t even exist anymore.
Dysfunction
Doesn’t stay connected. Doesn’t come on as scheduled. And it doesn’t shut off as scheduled.

Disappointed - no sounds, Bluetooth no good
While I love some of the features, the main thing that made me want to buy 2 lights for my reef tank was the advertised feature of being able to have sound accompany the weather feature. This doesn’t exist. I was told from a representative of Current that the sounds could be played through any Bluetooth device. However, there is zero capability on the app for sound. Also, I bought 2 lights because I was told that having 2 would boost my light to the correct PAR for SPS. My SPS are struggling. As far as the app - it is user friendly and clean but if my phone is upstairs the programming on the lights doesn’t work. The Bluetooth doesn’t turn on until I’m near the lights. That means, all programmed settings are now manual. Unless I leave my phone at home during the day and next to my tank. With a little more work on the app and a little better LED’s this brand of lights could be amazin.

Program settings don’t work
Very disappointed with this system for one reason, and it’s a big one. The light program features simply don’t work, they don’t stay on schedule, they just kinda screw me over honestly. Kinda wish I would have looked into other lights more. The lightning is cool, but not too useful when the program settings are a joke.

Update is trash
Didn’t think it could have gotten any worse but it did. Lost the sound, wave makers stopped working etc. for as much as you pay for this set up there shouldn’t be stupid problems like this. Extremely piss poor

So many issues with connectivity. Also the time program doesn’t work.
Volume control is gone
After the latest update the volume slider to control wave sounds disappeared

Light program does not work
I bought the Orbit Marine IC LED Light Fixture for my tank and it only comes with the Loop controller. The app lets you set the program for your life but it doesn’t work. I set it to turn off at 8:00PM but when I look at the tank after 8:00PM it’s still on and on day mode. I have tried many different ways but so far the program does not work. So far I have to manually go into the app and turn the light off and on everyday and since it’s only Bluetooth I have to be right there to do it. This is useless if I go out of town.

Volume slider control
I have the current set up and had the speakers connected for the wave sounds. But now the volume slider disappeared and no sound. What happened? If the sound wouldn’t had disappeared I would’ve gave it a five star.
Version 3.2 seems to be working now
The app now connects to the controller and appears to be working. Let’s see if it lasts.

Next time, let’s not wait months to fix the issue. Think about rolling back the update next time.
Fixed connectivity
I contacted Saltwater aquarium about connectivity issues in V3.1 and they was great at collecting data and being proactive. Now V3.2 is out and back working as it should. Thanks for your support.
No Bluetooth connection
This new update still doesn’t connect with my Current Bluetooth lights!! No connection needs to be updated!! I need to make changes to my light settings and it’s so annoying I’m really considering switching lights
Phone cannot connect to controller
My phone has an extremely hard time connecting to the loop controller via loop app. This started around the time they updated the app. Dropping support for older controllers so we cannot change sunrise/sunset is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend any of their products. Most of my stuff has failed, and the connectivity between app is terrible. I will be ditching the R24 lights soon if this is not fixed.

Stopped Working
Worked fine for over a year. Have to restart the app sometimes to get it to connect. But it won’t connect to my controller anymore. I’ve tried everything. Please fix the app!!!
Updated app causing light issues
Things were working as normal until an update came out to fix Bluetooth connectivity now after update was installed now the app on my iPhone does not work at all cannot change light colors I’m stuck on a bad light settings for my corals I’m hoping they actually turn off.did not know current was bought out by saltwater aquariums but I’m one unhappy reef owner hope this gets fixed soon
