New GUI needs some fine tuning

The App is great. Love the new headline view, however the headlines don’t rotate when you swipe. They actually open. The rotate headline gui needs some updating.

Horrible Update

This used to be the best app to get cybersecurity news, and now it’s ruined. I paid for ad free and with this update it’s all ads. Opened 3 “JIRA Tickets “ with no response. Been using for 9+ years, Loyal is losing a loyal customer.

Notifications broken?

Notifications haven’t popped for years across multiple iOSes and iPhones.
Ads are ridiculously long and require multiple taps to clear.

Ad overload

I was interested in this app based on topics and reviews. Immediately after downloading and installing I was forced to sit through a game app which couldn’t be closed. I spent the next few minutes trying to view topics to see if this app would be informative for my needs but was hit with numerous additional ads. I have no problem supporting developers and paying for ad free versions but I cannot even evaluate to see if this app is worth the contribution. I’m deleting it.

5 ads in and still haven’t read a single article

Ruined by ads. Impossible to use getting multiple ads before I get to a single article. Have to uninstall because it’s so hard to use.

Too many ads

I opened the app for the first time in (months? Over a year?) and was immediately shown an ad for a crappy toss your money in this hole sort of game.

Great articles - Too many ads

Great app! A lot of very informative articles that offer valuable insights in the cyber industry. The ONLY bad aspect of this app is the constant ads. I was just reading a security article about malvertising on the app, and seconds later a shady ad is presented to me from the app. If that can be fixed, this app is a 5 star!

The cyber security news app you need

Edit: changing rating from 5 stars to 1 star because the ads have become overwhelming and ad-ridden apps are typically accompanied with security issues.

Previous review: I use this app daily as my primary source for cyber security news. Fresh content, common sense app features, and it’s free.
