Also, I have none of my family added as additional alerts. The “we tried to alert your family but your basically have none” notification is definitely not the type of a thing a single parent wants to see and seems a little tone deaf.
In general, I’m disappointed with a very expensive car seat feature. If I had known I would be regretting sensorsafe 48 hours in, I would’ve saved myself $100 with another seat that she would be just as happy with.

Currently the device supports only one connection at a time, so when the user that is connected to the device leaves the car, it triggers the child still in car notification that you can always acknowledge or even snooze for a few minutes. Worth every penny
No notification throttling on sensor reconnects and notifications
I must have received ~ 20 critical notifications while waiting in line at the coffee shop.
I understand that the product needs to send me a critical notification if it determines that I’ve left the child in the car. I don’t understand why a) the product constantly loses connectivity with its sensor and b) why the engineers that built the app didn’t put in place some checks & balances to detect this cycle and throttle notifications.
I can’t use this product or recommend it to others if it’s constantly sending me critical alerts. I may be ok with acknowledging 1 critical alert when I knowingly leave the child with an adult in the car. I am not ok with the behavior I just experienced.
Please describe in your app release notes once this is fixed. At that time I may try the product again.
P.S. We installed into a Jaguar 2016 XF the SensorSafe system. It came with our Cybex Cloud Q car seat. I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max, with both iOS and the app up-to-date. The app has all of the permissions it has requested. There is an iWatch 6 paired to the phone, also over Bluetooth.
