Frustrated and uninstalling
If I help load my son in the car so my partner can take him to school, I get alerts that I’ve left him behind. The heat alert has no way to silence it. I live in California, I know it’s hot, the ac is blasting, but it’s going to take awhile before it’s in the range the seat doesn’t think is too hot. We took two cars somewhere and the whole time I was being alerted he was left behind even though he was in the car behind me, and I couldn’t turn it off. Incredibly distracting while I’m driving. On top of that it logs me out all the time.

Regarding the alerts when your son is traveling with your partner, the SensorSafe clip will connect to the first parent's phone that comes within Bluetooth range. If you're traveling in separate vehicles, we recommend temporarily turning off Bluetooth on the phone that won't be traveling with your child until the other phone has connected to the clip. This should help prevent unnecessary occupancy alerts. For the temperature notifications, we recommend pre-cooling the vehicle before placing your child in the car seat whenever possible, as this can help ensure the cabin reaches a comfortable temperature more quickly. False positives
This App Has Issues
I wanted to add members of my family as the emergency contacts and all of them got confusing emails that didn’t work. I’m still unclear how to actually use that function.
Also every time I try to “add a child” it tells me I have reached the maximum amount of children I can add but I haven’t been able to add any at all.
Again I love the car seat but for the price we should have a functional app.
