FAQ

What does the D-ID app do?

The app allows you to create AI-powered videos featuring digital people or talking avatars. You can transform a single still image into a video where the avatar speaks, using text-to-speech or uploaded voice recordings. It's designed for quick and easy video generation from your mobile device.

How do I create a video with a talking avatar?

You can choose a digital person from the app's library or upload your own image. Then, you can input text or a voice recording for the avatar to speak. The AI then animates the image into a video with a talking avatar in seconds.

What languages does the app support?

The app supports creating videos where your digital person can speak in 120 different languages. This feature allows you to connect with a global audience through your AI-generated videos.

Is the app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases. This means that while you can access core features, certain advanced functionalities or increased usage might require payment.

Can I use my own photos for avatars?

Yes, you can upload your own images from your photo roll to be used as avatars. The AI video generator will then bring your chosen image to life as a talking digital person.
