Even Your Own Employee Can’t Do It! So Why Are You Selling It?
I used Kaiber to turn a song I wrote, arranged, and performed entirely myself into a vintage -style music video meant to look like it came from a 1970s Yeşilçam- era Turkish film. My prompt clearly and explicitly described the desired period visual texture: film grain, black-and-white tone, 4:3 framing, and the imperfections typical of period television broadcasts.
The result was completely unusable:
1. The woman's face and body deformed inconsistently throughout the scene, looking clear one moment and grotesquely distorted the next.
2. The background looked nothing like the requested vintage aesthetic — instead it turned into a nonsensical, cartoon-like animated pattern. I never requested anything like this in my prompts; it was entirely the system's own unrequested output.
3. The system altered and misspelled the opening credits (name, surname, composer, lyricist information) without my ever asking it to.
My $50 credit pack was consumed entirely on this single attempt. I then spent another $5 trying just to fix the opening credits, which also failed.
When I contacted support, the representative approached me with a condescending tone. But I want to emphasize this: I am an amateur user — if I were a professional, I would likely already be using a different, more specialized tool. Despite this, the representative, who is a Kaiber employee and presumably a professional at this, ran three attempts on a mere eight-second test clip and failed every time — failing even to fix the simple text errors in the credits. If your own employee cannot accomplish this basic request, how am I, an amateur user, supposed to?
At that point of frustration, I requested a refund and received no response at all. On top of that, I was told to go purchase a competing AI tool (Grok) instead — directing a paying customer to buy the service elsewhere because your own product cannot deliver it is an unacceptable approach.
If your system genuinely cannot handle this kind of request (vintage aesthetic combined with consistent facial/body animation), I should have been told that clearly, the moment I submitted my requirements — BEFORE spending any money. Had I known and still chosen to proceed, that would be a different matter; but now I am left with money spent, an unusable result, and an unanswered refund request.
My request is this: either refund the $55 I spent, or properly re-process my uploaded video according to my original request — a consistent 1970s vintage Yeşilçam aesthetic, stable face/body animation, correctly spelled opening credits, and no nonsensical background patterns.
