Each iteration is worse!
Bill Maher coined the term “reverse improvements”, and that’s what’s been happening. The latest reverse improvement consists of being unable to search my database alphabetically: the option if offered but does not respond to clicking on it. This is in addition to no longer being able view appointment history for a given client. Miserable product!

Updates made the app useless
We used to be able to call and populate a map from the customer area in the appointment and now you can’t. Daysmart doesn’t have a live call center and literally have not responded back to our inquiry through chat. We have used this company for 17 years and we are done.

Every time I’ve tried to open the app today it crashes- I’ve checked & no updates are available

Whatever update just went through, the app crashes on iphone. Iphone is updated. Internet works. Iphone restarted. Nothng. Crash crash crash

This is a 2025 app with 2000’s style lag and UX. Pretty embarrassing!
Long time user
Phone app takes over 3 min to advance to the month. So inconvenient for clients to Wait. And embarrassing to my co.

I have used the DaySmart scheduling system for years. I started when it was called appointment plus. I am not happy with the current app. When I want to look at a different month, it can take three minutes for the app to give me the next month. I can have my computer turned off - then open the computer and open my browser and go to DaySmart to schedule an appointment for a client before the phone app will give me the next month to look for an appointment.

Latency
The latency in this program is unreal and disruptive. Because of the latency issues it’s hard to book appointments and sometimes they don’t get on the schedule which causes missed appointments and unhappy customers. If they could fix the issue we would stay with the program. Unfortunately we are transitioning into a new program. Also hard to get a hold of customer service as you can no longer call and haven’t to sign into a computer. I’m a mobile service and often don’t have my laptop in front of me.

Great App
The best appointment application I have ever used. Easy to schedule myself and complete information about my clients.
Good app but is too simple for a busy world!
This app is very simple but don’t look for immediate updates on your schedule. It would be nice to get notified of a schedule change when it occurs, maybe even accepting the change or not. I would like to see a calendar that allows for putting in vacation requests or training notifications. For hourly people where pay rates may differ depending upon assigned tasks, the pay rate could be available for a tally. Even it could announce holiday closures or pay. But it is simple if that’s all you need.

Poor, barely works
Poor user interface, long load times, barely works. I have to use it for work, otherwise I wouldn’t bother. If you have a choice, find something better

Unreliable
This app can be amazing. Unfortunately when it goes down, your day is absolutely ruined. It has happened and caused chaos. The company work for relies on DaySmart. I have learned to back it up with pen on paper and screenshots. Really no point having the app if I have to back it up daily.
Missing tools and way overpriced
Why am I not able to edit recurring appointments in the app? This is the most basic of tools for my, and many others, scheduling needs.
I can all of what I need as an individual cheaper, easier and quicker on the most basic of google and MS calendars. I only keep this to track other instructors lessons so as to make sure my studios are open before their students arrive.

Outstanding Products
My wife and I were looking for a program that would allow our clients to book their own appointment. This is extremely easy and saves us much time. The fact that the program syncs with a cell phone makes this software in my top 3.
This app is full of bugs
Useless.
