No actual rooms
I’ve attempted to book on two separate occasions, yet when I get to the hotel, they say they don’t have any rooms available and that Dayuse should not allow people to make reservations. When I call the help number, it says the customer service is closed and the AI will help me but then it just ends that call. Yet I’m being charged the processing fee. So make sure you call the hotel before making any reservations through this app.

They don’t check for availability, or send any sort of reservation. I don’t recommend using this god awful app
Watch out for hidden fees
App works fine. But twice I booked a room that was in the low $200s after taxes. When I check-in, I get billed for $300. They know at that point it’s too late to change anything. So you’re stuck with paying.

The app is great the concept is amazing I love this thing. Makes traveling so much easier I love it.

Love the concept
But needs to be upfront about what we actually pay at the hotel desk. My strong opinion would be to just show us the price WITH taxes and fees. No other booking sites do this for any type of reservation. If you're unsure what the customer is ACTUALLY going to be charged don't be in the business. Definitely getting over on people presenting one price when you’re looking for a place to stay when you go to reserve it doesn’t tell you how much taxes and fee fees are until after you book it. Yes, you can cancel for free, but that’s stupid and backwards.

Convenient
It’s very convenient to be able to get a day hotel for a few hours during the day. If you need somewhere to do the deed then it’s perfect.
Cool idea but little available
I used this app to find a place where I could recover from an oral surgery and had to wait in the area for 4+ hours to go back. The hotel room day rate was 30% less than the total cost of a full nights stay. We were only there for 31/2 hour and when I asked to extend the room for an hour due to having to wait a little longer they quoted me 20$ for the hour. After paying the taxes for the day use rate the additional 20 would have been the total price for the room for the evening. Kinda disappointing and really annoying. I wouldn’t suggest unless it’s a really good deal. The hotel also had to take out a security deposit of 100$ that will be refunded back into my account in a couple days. So having the security deposit with the day rate plus taxes we paid 182$ the site promoted a price of 70$.

This website is a godsend for someone regularly flying over night and in need for sleep and a shower! Takes seconds to book.. no fuss!
My experience
I love this idea of this app. What’s not good is that my reservation never made it to the hotel and I didn’t have a reservation or room when I went to check in. Fortunately the hotel had a daytime space for me. Please fix this glitch with Super 8 Monee.
Great service, but app needs work
I use this service quite a bit, but I’ve found that the app can be clunky. More often than not my reservations don’t show up until I force close and restart the app multiple times.

The app has become worse due to hidden prepayment policies
I used to love using this app because it didn't require any prepayments and offered true free cancellation. However, the recent changes have made it very frustrating to use. Even when a room says "free cancellation," you are now required to pay a prepayment fee that varies wildly depending on the hotel. To make matters worse, if you cancel, that prepayment is not refunded at all. It feels very misleading to call it "free cancellation" when you end up losing money anyway. It’s no longer as user-friendly as it used to be.

Fails to list reservations as a way to search
App used to be more useful and allow me to search my reservations. Now it does not and causes me to make multiple identical reservations to be sure I did. Wastes lots of my time that way.

Prepaid online-No Reservation
I pre paid online and was sent a confirmation that the hotel confirmed. I get to the hotel and not only was there no reservation, the hotel itself doesn’t accept online payments
Misleading pricing
Be very cautious about hidden taxes and fees. They are listed but buried in the details, so unlike hotels.com, the price you see in big numbers will be much more than posted. Seems silly they don’t just post the final price so we can easily compare apples to apples. Each hotel has their own extra fees.
