Moved to the city with a beautiful view but with industrial air conditioners across the street. I use the decibel meter to see when it goes beyond the acceptable level. I contact our city representatives and they respond quickly because I give them an exact decibel reading. Great app!

I downloaded another dB meter before this, and annoying ask kept coming up constantly, making it useless.
I saw this had lots of reviews so downloaded it, and it worked straight away, no annoying ads upon opening.
I also like that it tells you what the sound level is similar to, eg βbackground noiseβ, βsoft whisperβ, βchat with friendsβ etc.
Does exactly what it is supposed to. Canβt get better than that.
