The fact that this is uses the word ‘smarter’ as a selling point should have been a red flag to me but I ignored it and have paid the price. Poor badly written content aimed at people who want to be ‘smarter’ - there is no actual depth to any of the knowledge, poorly written very basic snippets from books that probably do have a lot to offer, but we’ll never know. I’d like me you turned to this as way to gain more knowledge whilst not having endless time to sit and read you’ll be very disappointed, it’s basic and the automated voice is grating

I really enjoyed the reading. I paid for a one month trial, but Deepstash took a second without my authority. Have sent multiple emails to their support but heard nothing back. Be careful if you pay. Had to dispute the charge through credit card.
Not displayed properly
This app will not adjust properly to the resizing of text when adjusted in iPhone settings. The titles of books swallowed by background and are net easily read. Most are unintelligible.

Hyper masculine and super basic concepts. Not surprising the app icon resembles the tinder icon. So disappointing all around
Poor customer service
Try before you buy! The app has lots of potential and is very interactive, however it wasn’t my cup of tea. I don’t like the way it has the sentiment that you are a young child and need childish encouragement. It annoyed me. So within 24 hours I tried to cancel and get a refund, but they refused. They just offered to upgrade to more access. But I do not see myself using it. I would prefer a $50 refund.

First of all I got billed for an entire year when the app said I would get a warning about maxing a commitment. It has gone downhill since then.

I get a screen that says what’s your main focus here?… but Durant show the rest of the information, won’t scroll, won’t allow me to skip, won’t respond in any way. Not learning a lot…🙃

I wanted to try the free version of this app. Downloaded it and got thru their Q & A and then it was “try a free trial” so you had to give a credit card before getting to even try the app. Not at all free.

Falsely advertising
Claims to be a better scrolling stim but is just a bookstore. Everything is locked behind a paywall.
Scam
Charged £37 twice without realising as they charge you separately to your apple subscription - no refund despite not using the app, and the app making it difficult to notice if you even have an auto-renewal subscription being charged after a free trial. Do not download.

Just a few minutes, even if only 5 minutes to read one idea from a book of choice, can help re-wire the brain, provide a positive feeling, and in turn better yourself. Love how the app has a free version for access to some (enough) options right away, and paid version that helps for those that need additional feature, example audio-books, etc.
