Cannot trust mandatory subscription apps
I can’t say whether or not this app was good. I aborted during the install process because it was signing me up for a subscription that starts automatically after the trial. No way I’m going to allow that. A free trial should be a free trial. At the end of the trial, offer the opportunity to subscribe, not the other way around.
If you have no confidence in your product or pricing, you try to trick people into subscriptions they forget about or trap them with cancellation processes that are onerous.
Too bad, because this looked like a promising alternative to social media.
