The WORST Fast Food App
This app is by far the worst fast food app I’ve ever used. It makes you jump through hoops to order, doesn’t apply offers correctly, and glitches constantly. Overall it’s just confusing. When you have to have a tab in the app called “Tutorials” you should realize you lost the plot. After everything, the app offers suck anyway.

They just ruined it.
I was forced to update halfway through order. My order disappeared, and I attempted to order again - but major functionality is broken. Can’t order! They completely ruined the app!
Very Slow and Glitchy
The app buffers for at least 10 seconds when you tap on anything, and then you can’t even order with it half the time. I used to like Del Taco but the fall off here has been crazy, quality and care has completely fallen off a cliff
What happened?
Edit 4: consistent issue with debit card not being accept.. it only works when I re-enter the card number/ info. Also, a common issue with an error message I get that says “Del Taco is currently closed” when I try checking out my order, it’s mid-day and the location is not closed.
Edit 3: Multiple offers are not working. I keep getting the error message: the basket does not contain the required item for the offer. When it does contain both the correct item and the minimum requirements for the offer..
Edit 2: it’s probably been a year or two since my issue below and not has been fixed..
Edit: second time I’ve had the system say my card is declined.. for billing error… my billing is fine and I have money in my account.. please fix this bug!

Needs improvement
Generally speaking, I like the app because I can place an order and just pick it up in the drive-through and go. They are losing business from me because it’s difficult to customize items in the app and there’s no chance in the app to do light ice or no ice on a drink. Every time I place an order in the app I skip getting a drink and the certain food items that I just don’t order because I can’t customize them the way I would like. I can do it inside at the counter, but you can’t do it in the app or at their kiosk. This app needs a lot of improvements.

Doesnt work more than half the time I try to use it
Prompts such as no locations available or this location is no longer available. The food is good but this is the worst food related app I’ve ever used.
Worst food app on the market
While every other app on the market is clean sleek fast and easy this app feels like it was made as a high school coding project. Whoever made this app has lost the company my business more time than I can count due to the horrible user interface and how slow and glitchy everything is. The middle schooler they had create the framework and app as a whole needs to be fired out of a cannon into the sun. This app sucks and needs a serious overhaul.

Worst Fast Food App I’ve Ever Used
Creating account using Apple ID- it sent a confirmation to a random email that is in no way related to my Apple account. I thought maybe it was a masked email issue, which I didn’t ask it to do. Also never got the confirmation email.
Next attempt, I created an account with my Gmail. When I got to the point of choosing a location, I could go no further. After multiple attempts, I closed the app & tried again a couple times.
Finally time to order & it didn’t let me choose what size drink or fries I wanted. Ever other FF app I’ve used automatically offers a “meal deal.” Nope! Only if you start out that way!
Finally, go to pay & Apple Pay isn’t an option. Gotta use a card. Not the most convenient nor secure. App deleted.

Online order
Online orders never work. My orders always get canceled through the app.
Clunky + non-operational
the app is so useless; half the time I just decide to eat somewhere else. It’s been this way for years and the developers don’t fix it. It’s tremendously slow. The loading wheel spins for a few seconds at every action. The rewards are very finicky and won’t work half the time. I get the same thing every time and half the time it says the conditions haven’t not been met. You reload the screen a few times, add/re-add all the items, add/re-add the coupon… it eventually works. You have to re-type in your credit card every few orders. No option for Apple Pay. Normally I run out of patience before I order & just go somewhere else.

😖 The app!
I have only been to Del Taco a couple times and thought I would use the app this second time 🤧 I have never experienced such a clunky app from a mainstream restaurant. If you even venture away from the app even for a few mins the cart is emptied and you have to start all over again. There’s no way to pay except entering payment details manually, it’s 2026 Apple and Android pay should be baked into the app. Then there’s the way the app chooses the local locations 🥴

Unusable
Despite following the password rules, no password I enter is acceptable. Eventually I figured out I could submit the form despite the red error messages, but then the login wasn’t saved in my password manager. Ugh! Usability! I can’t offer a better rating because I gave up as my food was getting cold.

Garbage buggy convoluted app
Im just going to stop bothering to try to order delivery. They let you select a restaurant go thru the hassle of selecting all your items, enter your payment info, to then say restaurant is closed. Then i select another restaurant and if does the same thing. Total bs waste of time and obviously del taco doesnt value mine.

Better than Taco Bell by a mile
I love del taco, I just recently started eating there. I’m surprised it’s not as famous as Taco Bell. Change nothing, just get better marketing, and this place would be booming

It’s clean the lady’s in the morning are so nice. Love the crew bathrooms are clean. Best del taco in sparks/reno area. Love you guys. Price raised a little higher again but it’s the chain that raised the price. Suck everything is going up but are pay checks
Worst app ever
Seriously, my kid handed me my device after choosing their item. The auto rotate hit and the entire order was lost. During the next attempt, one of my kids accidentally touched the edge of the device handing it to another. Order was lost. Not to mention when signing up, a giant picture of tacos was blocking the information and tap sections when confirming my emil. We ordered from somewhere else.

Scam Taco
Scam Taco uses Apple ID to sign but bypass it by forcing you to use your real email. Well, nope. I will not purchase Del Taco and will trash talk it to everyone.
