Terrible app
The app freezes constantly. Trying to customize your order to remove or add toppings is so confusing. You get coupon in the mail and they don’t work on the app. I am a big Del Taco fan but their app makes it difficult. Taco Bell and Mc Donald’s app is very easy to navigates and works. Difficult to use
Tried to order taco night. it said a quantity of 3 were required. I tried to go back and fix the order. The app then deleted the whole order. The app is difficult to use and takes too long
Constant App problems
The app constantly has problems. From not being able to process payments, to having to manually add payment method each time and recently having a whole order prepped but being unable to click the checkout button. Literally cannot order food on the app. No complaints for the local establishment though their good.

Terrible app
Wow, where do I begin? First, the app is so slow, it might even be worse than McDonald’s app. Which is saying a lot. It’s not seamless and takes forever to load between items and getting into your cart. Then, if you add a card and there’s an issue/you need to retype something, there’s no option to edit card info on the order. You just have to close out and start all over again. THEN if you use Apple Pay, it doesn’t want to recognize the zip code. I did a bunch of trouble shooting and even checking my address with my Mastercard through apple, and everything was right. But the app kept saying invalid zip code. Finally, they don’t even have everything on the app. One of my kids loves del’s chicken and fry box, but it wasn’t on the app. Luckily because of my zip code issue I went into the store to order and noticed that. I’m not sure what else wasn’t on there, but I did notice that! Deleting the app after writing this review because it’s a waste

Horrible
There is no way to add or remove items from your order. Or even to review your order before payment. How am I supposed to make changes if I need to?
Rewards have been broken a while
For months now rewards won’t apply ever. No matter what store or what’s in cart they always say your order doesn’t qualify unless you go to the store and have the cashier scan it in. Super poorly designed app, also constantly crashes on iPad if you rotate screen, everything is frequently glitchy on any device. Please fix it as the stores and deals are great! Also why is it 2026 and no Apple Pay?

Unsusable
Literally cannot view your order, what the heck are you guys smoking?
Hard to use when in a hurry
Every time I have to re-enter my payment information, and I have two separate payment cards on the app. Also, the app doesn’t use Apple Pay or Google Wallet
Glitch app
The app seems to be very glitchy. When I try to use the favorites sometimes it works and sometimes it subtracts different items I’ve noticed now it’ll consistently subtract items with favorites even when I make a new favorite it works the first time and then after that it’s subtract items as well.
No Apple Pay
Very slow app. Very sluggish. No Apple Pay. Kicks back saying invalid card information. Developers could've done better
Scammy fast food app
More than half the time when I enter my receipt to collect points it is rejected. The app says I’ve entered something incorrectly, try again. No, it is correct. I’ve taken screenshots of what I’ve entered, taken a picture of my receipt, as well as a screenshot of the error message. I submit all to customer service with my complaint and then I end up getting credited for the points. Should I have to do this to get the points that they’re offering? No! It’s a waste of time. McDonald’s has a great app. Carl’s Jr.’s has a decent app, Arby’s does a nice job. What is wrong with Del Taco??!

Offer and Rewards fail often
Done with this app. It happened yet again today. Tried using an offer: Scanned and nothing. Cashier tried too and wasn’t giving the discount, then offer showed a lock which I assume means It’s been used even though it wasn’t.
Terrible, terrible UX
Please revise your app. It's extremely clunky to do anything, takes forever to get started, and has poor integration with iOS features. I would go into more detail but if you're a Del Taco app team member reading this, please just check out other fast food apps to see what they did right
Can’t view items.
This app needs to seriously let you view what you ordered before paying. I accidentally order two of the same meals. Luckily I got to cancel order and was immediately refunded. But was annoying to do it all over again. Taco Bell has it right… come on Del Taco.

Cart is hidden intentionally at checkout. I’ve been screwed out of more deals this way than I care to admit. UI/UX of this app is absolutely terrible.
