Best screen time app

This app is a 10/10 in every way but I also expect improvements because I pay for this instead of a free app but if you add a to do list with the screen time that would be amazing also it would be nice to add your actual screen time into the app and the time saved goes from all time to daily and weekly also a normal schedule could be good thanks

Amazing app

A great app that has definitely helped me lower my screen time. It isnt just like the other blocking apps ive tried and does a great job at tailoring your preferences into ways to control your screen time. Has great app design and runs smoothly.

Useful!

Been using Second Thought for a few weeks and it actually works. Instead of a normal time limit, it makes you solve a quick challenge (I usually get math or Plinko) before an app opens, and that few seconds is enough to make me close the app instead. The block groups are handy too, I’ve got social media and games split up so I can loosen one without touching the other. My screen time is down noticeably since I started.

Second thought

This app is hands-down the most effective screen time tool I have ever used. Standard app blockers don't work for me because I always find myself mindlessly clicking "ignore limit" or putting in a passcode without thinking. This app completely solves that fatal flaw. If your short attention span is getting the best of you and you want to genuinely build better focus, download this app immediately. Huge shoutout to the developers for constantly keeping it updated and effective!

Doesn’t work if you don’t immediately pay up

The idea in itself is amazing. It could have been really cool and a fun way to reduce screen time but it has a pay wall. You’d get a 3 day trial but already have to put in all of your payment informations beforehand. Without paying you’ll get nothing from the app

Second Thought Review and Improvements

This app has so much potential but I think it can be improved by making the subscription smaller or even make it $0 but I understand that you have to make profit. I haven’t found out yet but it would be very good if you are completely unable to open up distracting apps once you have gone over the time limit.

Advertising set unrealistic expectations for this app, text was being cut off in the introduction which wasn’t a good sign, but then as you start to set it up, in order to continue you must subscribe. Not worth it considering other more well polished apps at least providing basic features for free.

The idea is genuinely solid and extremely unique, but to even USE the app you need to pay a recurring subscription. The app should be free with base challenges included, but should upcharge to unlock certain extra challenges and games. Right now, as soon as you get to the subscription page in the app setup, i’m sure 99% of users are just uninstalling, and are not tempted by the “3 days free”. So, an actually good app with a potential of future, but ruined with developers seeking instant profits instead of just letting it build traction ✌️🔒 or maybe just go back to building another Ai b2b SaaS gpt wrapper 💔
