Not Connecting
I have never been able to get the app to connect to my machine. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Really poor optimized app
I’m sorry but the app is so laggy and it has so many flows I could not stand not rating it. First of all the connection is half of the time so poor even though I’m standing next to the coffee machine. After tweaking the coffee settings there is a screen in which it is recommended to use the grinder on level “x” based on previous experience. I click the continue button, the same screen appears again. I click the continue button again and it changes my settings to its recommendation. Who thought about this UX? It’s horrible. After this I can’t even access the bean setting again cause it tells me to make 3 coffees first.
Honestly I can’t imagine a reason why this app is so poorly optimised and who thought that the UX is good.
Two stars because the app is at least barely working.

Horrible
This is the slowest app and it never is correct on descaling or filter changes I just did 2 weeks ago and it tells me I need to do now and then won’t make a coffee. It doesn’t make any sense to have a app to make a cup of coffee and it cleans machine first so you have to empty cup or have a cup with water that ran cleaning into your cup so it’s pretty useless for that. Making other coffees at the machine it’s ok but still very very slow. Would not buy another that is Bluetooth it isn’t worth it.

Dopo 5 anni che posseggo la macchina avete trovato il modo per far aggiornare automaticamente l’orologio. Incredibile risultato per voi! L’applicazione è lenta nell’avviarsi, poi nel collegarsi alla macchina non vi dico, per attendere lo switch da un un profilo all’altro fate in tempo a prendere un caffè al bar. Senza contare mille altri dettagli che potrebbero essere resi più attuali e agevoli. Le vostre macchine costano migliaia di euro e non riuscite a sviluppare un’app che qualcuno riuscirebbe a fare gratis? De Longhi oggi è una vergogna e non riesce a stare al passo con i tempi.

Eletta Explore - zero helpful info
Poor customer service and truely dumb app. Machine comes with ZERO information that isn’t just advertising junk pictures so you download the app. Only you need to already know how to set the machine up, get it connected to your hidden wifi, and only THEN will Delonghi give you access to the “help” information in the app. You can’t even manually add yhe machine from a list of available devices or the serial number or the model number. Kinda basic stuff for a manufacturer to get right!! Disappointment101

I like the app/machine, but the core function of bean adapt needs more open spots to save different bean profiles….

Ta aplikacja to jakaś porażka- wieczny problem z komunikacją, każda kolejna aktualizacja powoduje coraz więcej błędów, obecnie to zrywanie połączenia w trakcie przygotowywania produktu, zaczyna i jest ok po czym „ojj ups”. Zaczynam coraz bardziej żałować zakupu (a mam już rok). Po pierwszej recenzji ponad rok temu doszło zrywanie połączenia i problemy z wykonaniem pełnego przepisu z aplikacji - Dno i kilo mułu

Lots of reviews conflate the app with the machine.
Don’t get me wrong. I love my Eletta Explore espresso machine. But this app? Not so much.
The app is mind-numbingly slow. It was a hassle to connect the app to my machine. When you do finally connect, the app has the model number and serial number right there, but you can’t register your machine in the app. Instead, you must go to the website and manually enter all these details that already exist in the app—using the SAME account login! Crazy!
The app just creates all kinds of friction in the experience because of extremely poor design and execution.
After I finish the arduous task of configuring my machine, I know I will rarely use this app.

Poor app
Connection to the machine is not easy and straightforward as it supposed to be. I tried so many times. Then each time you open the app it takes ages to connect to machine and sometimes gives error.
Terrible setup
Does not find my Ellet’s Explore. Tried all tips I could find online.

La aplicación es un martirio, terriblemente mala: la uso en un último iPhone 16 Pro Max y a parte de ir LENTÍSIMA, se bloquea cada 2 x 3 y se queda pensando…. Invita a no usar nunca la APP y manejar todo desde la cafetera. Muy mal!!!
