I like the app/machine, but the core function of bean adapt needs more open spots to save different bean profiles….

Don’t get me wrong. I love my Eletta Explore espresso machine. But this app? Not so much.
The app is mind-numbingly slow. It was a hassle to connect the app to my machine. When you do finally connect, the app has the model number and serial number right there, but you can’t register your machine in the app. Instead, you must go to the website and manually enter all these details that already exist in the app—using the SAME account login! Crazy!
The app just creates all kinds of friction in the experience because of extremely poor design and execution.
After I finish the arduous task of configuring my machine, I know I will rarely use this app.

Poor app
Connection to the machine is not easy and straightforward as it supposed to be. I tried so many times. Then each time you open the app it takes ages to connect to machine and sometimes gives error.
Terrible setup
Does not find my Ellet’s Explore. Tried all tips I could find online.
Connection Lost
Although I’m able to wake up the machine with the App it loses connection frequently. Even if connection continues to be established it takes time. Quicker to do it manually without the App

Poor Performance of De’Longhi Coffee Link App
The Coffee Link app is very slow and unreliable. It often fails to connect to the machine or freezes. Please improve the app performance and connection stability!We end up using the machine buttons instead of the app.

Well, it works. Ok I’m not gonna lie, it is rather sluggish. But once connected it is like a dream. Clever bean adapt function saved the experience for my espresso. But when you go onto the app it has to “prepare” the coffee machine before it is good to go. But what is the point? You have to put the cup there ANYWAY. But I do like the coffee recipes and you can create your own coffee. I wish it would work with Alexa though. Still good though as it has to heat up before it can make coffee, so while you walk down the stairs you can turn it on so it’s good to go by the time you get there. So good and bad.

No App Connectivity
This app is the worst app for connection. I’ve only ever gotten it to connect to my machine once in the almost month I’ve had the machine. My husband still can’t connect to it. The machine itself is amazing. I was hoping to have an app that I can use while waking up but still in bed to walk out of our room and have coffee while making breakfast. In contrast, I’ve just spent 20 minutes trying to create through the app when I can just go to the machine. Small thing I know, but that’s what we saved for. We bought DeLonghi because they have a long history of great machines. But their app needs serious work.

Slow and fragile
I can connect and make a coffee with the JOE app in the time it takes this app to just connect. I can no longer make two drinks in the app because it starts the drink and freezes at 0% and I need to restart. I have a new elleta extreme so hopefully it’s not the unit. Prior version of the app progressed the percentage at least.

Machine will not connect to the app or even to WiFi. Trying to register and just get an Oops message and Retry button which does not work. This is such a poor experience for an expensive machine
Worst app ever!
It can find my machine 1 out of 100 times. And even when it does, it cannot connect to it at the end! Worst experience!

Slow and makes working the machine actually harder. This needs major changes

Trying new coffee been but machine not liking it, grind fails but machine won’t let me adjust the grind on the machine or with the app
