It’s really convenient because once I schedule it for the super off‑peak electricity hours and plug in the car at any time, it automatically starts charging during the super off‑peak period. The charger is sturdy and highly reliable.
Charger is great — App is not
Notifications from the app (when charging starts, stops, etc) has never worked. Support stopped responding to my emails attempting to troubleshoot the issue. Something as basic as notifications should be a minimum requirement for an app. While the charger itself works great, the app leaves much to be desired. Disappointing experience.

Love it and the chargers are quality!
I have numerous things from Dewalt. So once I bought an f150 lightening the first thing I did was get a Dewalt charger. For the 40 amp it is about 93% efficient which is amazing to charge with little loss. I honestly don’t have any complaints .
Good but needs some things
1. Add name for charger on main screen so you can differentiate multiple chargers.
2. Add schedule that locks out the charger during specific hours/days for when you are not home, etc.
3. Add ability to use on chargepoint network if you want to enable public charging for a fee.
4. Put the lockout button on the main screen.
5. Enable text/email notifications for charging notices.

I love my Dewalt charger but this app….
I do not like the Dewalt ev charging app. It is so limited and does not give you deep insights. To say my Toyota app is better is hard for me to say, but there it is. I’d like to know why my scheduled charging is always failing. In the year 2025, this really should be on 5Ghz and not 2.4 for WiFi. You REALLY need some more work on this one dewalt!

Can’t sign up
I have tried 10 times to create a password with 12 to 20 characters with capital letters, small case letters numbers and various characters (whatever that means). I give up for tonight!
needs more work
I love DeWalt and i have plenty of tools … this charger app needs a bit more work… I was on a generator charge and the generator stopped and the app stated the charge was complete on the vehicle… some how we need to have a “continue cycle charge “ and not start from 0 so far I like the charger but I am not sure if the vehicle is the one that holds the charge at 15 amps or the charger does it so I would like to know which one is holding the charge at that level of amperage…

Excellent charging experience. Even if I'm not at home, I can still control the charger remotely.
Perfect App
I have been using this up for over 18 months… easy to use and no fuss. I love it!! I utilize the off peak charging option by simply setting schedule for the correct times during the day/week and the app take care of operating my DeWALT charger to ensure I always leave home with a “full tank”. Absolutely love it and highly recommend it!!

Well built and simple to use
I really like the DEWALT App it is easy to use and I can control my charging time to recharge the battery during off peak to save some money. I also like that fact that they don’t charge money to use the app. Thank you DEWALT !!
Terrible software
Better hope you don’t have to reset the charger to another wifi network. When logged in you will receive the message that you cannot access the charger but can share . Tried everything including reloading the app.- then I saw that it’s made in the PRC- China .. should have bought something made in the USA with good support

The session consumption
/ cost calculation is incorrect.
Sometimes it switches the reaukta and puts consumption in the cost spot or vice versa. For todays session it ignored the $/KWH and used a rate of $1.
It is a simple math formula please fix this!
