You guys should update the app with a timer… im using the alarm on a construction trailer… also trucks… im tired to set off false alarm each wk end to forgot the night come to set it back.

Western Canada ***buyer beware***
If you’re planning on buying this product, do not buy it if you live in Western Canada 98% of the time the device will not connect to cell phone towers and the only thing they can say is they are working with the tower providers to resolve an issue that will never be resolved. With NO ETA.
Remote start app rarely works
This app used to be great and could start my car from anywhere but that latest update really messed up something and now I’m lucky it it works 1 out of every 10 times.
Works but NOT
I say it worked great first couple yrs. But now it says fails almost every time so you keep living it well after watching through the window it says failed but actually it was started. So I was just essentially just turning it on and off. Highly considering getting rid of it for something more reliable. It appears there’s not a fix to it. Tried updating and everything else.

Doesn’t work most times
Paying $200 a year really sucks when I can rarely start my car or lock my car from the app. I have perfectly good coverage anywhere I am, but this app is not consistent. I gave it at least two stars because I love it when it does actually work.
Runtime status erratic at best
Very unhappy with this app since the last update. Runtime not available most of the time, only occasionally will it show my runtime. And when it does show runtime it sometimes gives me a warning the runtime is unavailable. Unreliable, most of the time I only know if commands have executed if I can visually seem my truck.

App crashes every time I try to add my vehicle. App support seems to be nonexistent.

This is an awesome app if you like walking across the parking lot in January to find your car not running. It works less effectively the colder it gets.

Issues
App is still glitchy in that sometimes it shows the vehicle temperature and sometimes it does not.
It would be nice to get a notice when directed is going to work on their service. Yesterday morning at minus 25c I was convinced the car was dead; turns out directed was working on the system, so no winter car start.

Go with a better product.
I have been using this product for nearly 2 years. My thoughts? I suggest going with something different because what I have noticed it only works when it wants to. I specifically bought this for winter so I can start my vehicle in the cold and most of the time it can’t connect.
Please Add Apple Shortcuts Integration
Smart Start is great but it would be nice to be able to use Siri to start my car when I don’t have my iPhone at hand.

Clifford Remote
I bought a used car that has a Clifford remote starter. One of the remotes has no lights on it. I can’t lock or unlock the car. I can’t even start it. I don’t have any manuals for this remote. I would like to have a manual for it. Every time I look online it brings me to the Vipers Remotes. Hopefully someone can help me out.

Don’t waste your time
Doesn’t work tried both apps that Viper puts out and neither one works. Won’t connect to my phone, says Bluetooth isn’t on when it’s on and it won’t connect to my DS4. So no doesn’t work even a little.
Absolutely useless
Can be standing in front of the vehicle and it won’t start. It is a 1/10 chance the vehicle will start or not..usually on the cold days that I actually need it for it won’t..absolutely useless car starter and app
