Almost there

Timing is almost there on the locks there is less of a delay than before. My big issue is that the widget disappears every single time you roll out an update

Good but could be better

It should work when the phone is not connected to WiFi the Bluetooth should be enough

Takes forever

Takes a long time to unlock door

AI

Just contemplating that people with these systems will not be able to function without a phone… I’m from rural Wisconsin… we could function without cell phpnes

They somehow made this app worse

When it was Latch, all my access codes were in one place and I didn’t have to toggle between two different sets of codes to open the door to my apartment gate and my actual apartment. Not to mention, 90% of the time it never works and I sit there at a door for 5 minutes continuously clicking the unlock button and watching it do nothing. Every time I try to unlock my apartment door, it says “adding you to the access list” or something which makes no sense cause it’s MY DOOR. Latch wasn’t perfect but you forced us to move to another app that’s 10x worse!

Why do I have to hit the unlock bottom on two different screens to open one freaking door?!?! And don’t get me started on the fact that the cancel button doesn’t work. If you hit the wrong door, then try to cancel the unlocking, it just keep loading.

Lacking

Does not work on Apple Watch. Also delayed on iPhone. Yes it’s updated.

Better than latch

Much better than the previous app

Says 0% batteries

Recently changed to brand new batteries and it still says zero percent even after syncing. The former LATCH app was so much better with the colors like green when it’s open.

Bluetooth doors

I think theirs more issues on getting in my place I have to always make sure my battery is charged and theirs been a couple times I had a long day with my child then come home she wants to stop and play at the playground for 5-10 minutes but if my phone is close to dieing I have to cut her time short and rush her home so we don’t end up being locked out.A couple times a worker from the apartments got off of work as they were jumping in the car my door unlocked when I was looking out the window this happened a couple times their is multiple units where I live how with on small touch on the workers phone and my door unlocks?what if I didn’t know or heard it unlock and someone could’ve came in and could harm me or my child.

Slow connection

It takes 20-30 seconds to connect, it is very slow!

Feature request. Add key card to apple wallet

IOS supports adding resident key to apple wallet and unlock doors with a simple tap without opening the app and even after the phone is dead. But this app requires you to open the app and hold near the lock to open. This is not good enough in my opinion. I don’t know if there’s a design limitations that prevent DOOR from doing the apple wallet approach. But I won’t rate this app above 3 star without this feature.

Useless and very glitchy

Never hear from support despite numerous emails. The app still hasn’t synced properly to my own apartment front door so it takes forever to unlock. I literally cannot get into any of the amenities because it’s useless. Literally one of the main reasons I won’t be resigning my lease.

UI often doesn't reflect application's state, app freezes, functionality doesn't.

My title describes it well enough. Overall good app, kinda slower than latch, most likely due to quantity of people in my apt, but functionally works. Oftentimes, the UI will not reflect the application's state properly. An example is when you go to click unlock on the door after previously unlocking another door. The button won't have an active status, there will be no loading indicator, the UI will look frozen, but it still technically works. The fix I've found: restarting the app. This is fine, but it occurs almost every time. This all happened after one of the recent updates, specifically when ya'll updated the "unlock" door buttons to have a black background color instead of white.

Bluetooth Malfunction

I just moved in today, July 23, 2026 & could not get into my apartment. Apparently the battery needed to be changed, but because I’m a new tenant, it didn’t send me a notification for that. This can’t happen on a day or NIGHT, when the office management team & maintenance are not available. No way any tenant, should ever, EVER face being locked out of their apartment.

Awful

Constantly have to click into the right screen, always changing around on you, nothing saves, makes it 100 times harder just to open my door. If my building didn’t require this app I would never ever use this piece of shi.

Saved info lostt

My cell phone battery is in single digits when this happens. The Doors app doesn’t sign in with face id. I am then prompted to enter the password, so I used the saved password, which doesn’t work (but previously did). Then I work on resetting the password, stressed out because battery will drain out any minute. Terrible experience.

Ads over efficiency

When I’m trying to enter my home while some jerk is following me the last thing I need is an in product marketing to push to use some useless feature. The developers of this app make me angry.

It’s supposed to open doors but never does
