Good Pizza, terrible app
App is Very outdated, no order tracking. I had to manually sign in every time. App crashes. Terrible user experience than will frustrate you to the point of just clicking another pizza place with a functioning app.
I pledge fealty
As expressed by others before me I relented to the persistent nagging of the website and made the sacrifice of precious storage space and real estate on my phone (not to mention potential exposure to future data leaks) to down the app. To be perfectly clear the only reason I downloaded the app was for the presumed privilege of redeeming my glorious loyalty points accumulated over a span of untold years which cannot be redeemed on the website. How forlorn and disgusted was I to find that there is also no method to redeem said illustrious loyalty points through the app. In fact I am fairly certain that the app is just the website - doubledaves.weborder.net - wrapped in the shell of an app.
So to get to the point I am prepared to pledge my fealty to Dave or take whatever other steps are necessary to gain admittance to the occult portal through which I may redeem my loyalty points.
P.S. I’m pretty good at secret handshakes and can definitely keep a secret. But in the long run it’s probably just easier to make the necessary updates to the app and/or website. And I am not interested in free loyalty points for my trouble; they wouldn’t be loyalty points then would they? Or would they? Anyway please fix things for your loyal customers and their friends and family (your future loyal customers).

Can’t Sign In or Change Password
The freezes when I try to sign in. I’m not sure that my password is right, but the link that I was sent to reset my password doesn’t work because the site redirects too many times.
Not happy
The app now charges a fee to use a credit card. I thought that was illegal. Not to mention the is not an option to pay any other way. So charges a penalty fee for using a cc and only allows cc.
App stopped working

No Longer Works
It loads straight into a white screen and doesn’t work.
No longer works at all for me
Recently it started just opening to a blank screen with a refresh button and a forward/back button. None of them do anything. I even uninstalled and reinstalled.

Not only has this company completely given up from the CEO down to the managers, there app has not even been updated in 3years.

App opens to nothing
Launched the app and get a blank sheet with a reload button and right and left arrows. Tapping the buttons does nothing. Deleting and reloading the app does nothing.
Can’t redeem loyalty points
There is no option on the app or the website to redeem loyalty points.
App is useless
Although the app looks great once you log in, there’s no way to enter your cc info and there’s no option to use Apple Pay. What good is an app if you can’t pay for food ahead of time?
Discounts
You can apply discounts but they don’t show up in check out. Also can’t add a CC in the app….have to add via web and then is shows up in app.

Loyalty Points
Don’t be fooled. The loyalty points that Double Dave’s touts on their website and app are not honored anymore. I was just told that by the workers at the New Braunfels store. Been a loyal customer since they opened the store in 2019 and nothing. If they don’t honor the loyalty points, then they need to tell us and take that off the website and app. Pretty cheap if you ask me and a bit of false advertising.

App doesn’t work
Tried to order for the first time. Got through entering the order and address, got to the confirmation screen and it said to enter credit card details but there was no where to enter the card or submit the order. Not a very good first impression.
Couldn’t add points
So I have 210 loyalty points and I tried repeatedly to figure out how to add the loyalty points to my order. I finally gave up and pushed checkout 🙄 I went to my account, loyalty tab, I’m surprised DoubleDave’s does not have a help option or FAQ spot to figure this out.

Redeeming loyalty points
I was trying to place an order through the all and can’t find a way to redeem my loyalty points. This is also true on the website. The loyalty points show but no way to redeem them. Called the store and they were no help except to offer to take the order over the phone which would not have allowed me to use my coupon. If you are going to allow online/app ordering and offer loyalty points, then you should make sure the points are easily redeemable online or on the app. Every place else has figured this out so it can’t be that difficult.
